Look at all these classics! Quake, duke nukem, might and magic, blake stone, heretic! All wonderful =) well the urge to relive these games has struck me.

So here I am with windows xp, and no matter which of these outdated games I try the same thing happens-

DosBox claims to support all of those, http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/
and if by Duke you also include Duke3d, there's jfDuke (scantily clad pixel warning) made by two guys who originally made the Build engine.

and for Quake there's Tenebrae that can add OpenGL lighting effects similar to Doom3

I suspect that the file "Autoexec.nt" may be missing from your system. I'll PM it to you assuming that's the case. ^_^

Yeah, I'd recommend DOSBox. It's a bit of a hassle, but it's worth it to play old gameX0rs.
