I don't want to begin another debate or anything, I'd just like to clear things up (nicely):
First you were sarcastic and somewhat condescending to bobtheduck and the entire post seemed to scream, I dont like the psp so you go and get a palm pilot or such instead. I think the psp is better b ut if someone says they want a ds I dont tell them to go get a touch screen palm pilot or a game pro or whatever it was called.
If it sounded that way, I apologize, but that was not at all what I meant. It's just that I've seen posts like that before (not necessarily here) that make me wonder why people purchase gaming systems if they don't plan on playing games (and I saw your post Bob, so again, sorry).
Also, I "palm pilot" wasn't quite what I meant. IPod would have been a better example.
The other part that irked me was when you then had not a trace of sarcasm in your post then turned around and started doing u turns around the entire topic.
I did not. Again, I'm sorry I didn't put "JK" or ":P" or the like next to it to mark that it was, indeed, sarcasm. I just didn't think that small comment would have caused this.
And onto about the fanboyism. This topic drips with it, especially the first 3/4ths of it. Thirdly isnt part of being a fanboy one who attacks others for there liking a different system? That is what you did with the palm pilot comment.
As I said, that was not what I meant. If liking a certain system more than others is "fanboyism", I'd have to say we're all like that. As I said, I do like some games on other systems. I'm just not a fan of the system itself.
And I noticed faults in everything, not just other systems. I know Nintendo has their own, but they tend to well make-up for it. I'm sure we can admit, rarely have such glitches and hardware problems as some others, and yes, it is due to the fact that they didn't have moving parts. To me, moving along slower than everyone else is what kept them from running into those kinds of problems.
And lastly I forsee this getting the lock hammer if this continues. Stop doing U turns around the topic, be nicer and I wont get angry or rant.
I'm sure we wouldn't you to angry.
(SEE?! SEEEEE?!!?!?! SARCASM!!!! BWAHAHAHA!!! XP )
Oh and on a side not myoti, your posts are not the worse of the sardonic lies and twistings posted before this on this and other topics, but when one is irritated and bitter towards a type of behavior any of that behavior is enough to raise the battlecry. I beleive yojimbo and others would back me on this, any fanboyism that is attacking something else is enough to raise our wrath. We are tired of it and we are not going to take it. (this goes for both sides!)
I know what's it like, and for the reference, I'm not typically one to "attack" anything. If there are faults, as I said, yes, I'm probably going to point them out. That's just me.
An example of the kinda things that tick like that, as I said (again), would be ones were people go on and on about the "features" of a system and barely mention anything about what the hardware is for --- gaming. I took part of the post to be that way, but I was, in no way, trying to be "cheeky" or rude.
With that said, we return to the topic:
I'm guessing you've made a decision on what to buy by now?
