ok plain and simple HELP
this weeked i went to a tree lighting in my town and met some of my friends i wsa really happy and endded up spendinmg the night with 2 of them but the next day they went to anther friend of mines b-day party but i wasn't invited i didn't think it would bother me but when i stared thinking about it it did bother me why? also i had alot of fun whit my friends but then had to go back to skool on monday and they all go to another school than me and it makes me really sad not to see them and kids at my skool make fun of me b/c i'm the fat kid but i don't know how to get friends and still be myself i love anime hockey star wars and anime and i'm a girl plealse HELP me with both of these matters if you need to even pm me but soon befor i completely shut down to the world around

hey i'll pray for u
i know how u feel, i was the loser of the school from the 1st through middle of 7th grade. just ask God to show u how to become a friend, ask him who to go to for friendship. go up and talk to people, be friendly. believe me this works. still be cautious of who u hang around, don't just become friends b/c u need a companion at school, i did this in the beggining and it made matters worse. just show that u can be a good friend, offer a helping hand to those who drop their books in the hallway. go up to the new kid and strike up conversation.
in other words be nice no matter what ppl say to u, and u will find freindship within ur school. and as far as ur other friends, call them as much as u can, try to find days that u can hang out.
if u do these things u r sure to make friends.

Always find time in your day to rejoice for something the Lord has done for you... even if it is just the miracle of getting up every morning.

It's easier said than done, but try not to take it personally when you're left out of something and you don't know exactly why. Perhaps your friends wanted to invite you but didn't feel they were in the proper position to do that, seeing how it wasn't their party. Or, they may not have even thought of it until after the fact. If you ponder situations like these without knowing the facts, you'll only torture yourself.
The best advice I can give on making friends is, firstly, not to bother trying to impress people who make fun of you. You don't want to be around people like that anyway. A real friend will appreciate you for who you are, but it's also important to realize that you won't receive much respect from others if you don't respect yourself first. Do you have problems with self-esteem? If so, see if there are things you can do to help improve it...not for any other person, mind you, but for your own self-image. Try quitting a bad habit or improving something that you don't feel too good about. You mentioned your weight, but also look at simpler things, like your nails. How do they look? When I take time to pamper myself and such, it really makes me feel better, more confident. Keep living for the Lord all the while, and pray to Him for a good, true friend with whom you can fellowship. I'll pray for you too. Don't worry, things will get better!

Frist, don't worry. I'm sorry that it took this long to reply, but we all care about our members here and we will be praying for you.
The last part is the hardest. You shouldn't worry about what others think of you. If you like these thing, and you are happy, then you shouldn't hide it from the world.
When others pick on you, don't let them win. Remember God made you the way that he wanted. People that have a caring and loving heart arebeautiful and you just need to remember that.

Nice to meet you first of all, first off I'll be praying that God grants you peace, and wisdom to address alot fo these situations as they come. Making friends is tricky, but not hard. It's all a mind set, at least I personally think it is. Finding common interest is always a good thing, as well as goals, activities, things of this nature. But you need to be confident, and not worry about what others think because believe me, come years from now none if it will matter. Just live life for what it is right now, your young, and have alot of great experiences ahead of you, some of them will be great, others will be hard, but it will all mold you to be...well, thats up to you. No one can really mold you to be what your are accept you, those whom pick on your only have as much power as you give them, and only hold as much influence as you allow them to.
Don't worry about changing yourself to attract friends, thats a no no. Be who you loving being, and just pray, and God will grant you the answers you seek, and companionship as well. Because if there's one thing about God's light, it attracts people, trust me. I hope everything goes well.
