Ddr + Rpg?

Postby Ashley » Fri Nov 25, 2005 7:33 pm

My brother just picked up DDR: Extreme 2, and we happened to play this one song, Polyvistian Dances and Chorus, in the Dance Master mode. Both of us were blown away by the RPG in the background, and we were wondering if anyone knew what game this was from? Thanks!

the game is OZ or "Over Zenith," a team based hack-n-slash (think .Hack but with actual teamwork). apparently Konami will be releasing it in Europe as "The Sword of Etheria" but no final release date is set. As for a NA/US release, Konami's US office isnt really staffed by the best decision makers in the world, so import maybe the only option.

how is the songlist in Extreme 2? Are there any good songs from previous mixes? Such as lovelove shine. Or... cartoon heroes?

Here's what I can name off the top of my head:

Sakura
Cartoon Heroes
Candy
Dive
Butterfly (swingremix)
Speed over Beethoven
It's A Wonderful Night (Fatboy Slim)
Silence (Sarah McLaughlin + Delirium)
Genie in a Bottle
umm....there's a lot of really good ones; my boyfriend is a DDR nut and he's all excited about it.

The title makes me wonder:

What if there WAS a DDR RPG? That'd be... interesting.

Kae, which Wild ARMs do you speak of? Tell me there`s more than four Guardians in Wild ARMs 3...

Is the original DDR for PS1 and if so is it cheap?

I'm not sure if Dam Dariam is on there, but I bet it is. My brother was telling me that this version has the most songs ever on a DDR game--75, I think.

man... I have Max 2 here, and no PS2... I just look at my box and wimper at night...

The original is for arcade actually *smack* Ok, I know what you meant... yes, the original Console version is on the PS1, as are two others... Konamix and Disney Mix. No, they're not cheap... The game on PS1 is about the same as all the DDR games: 40 bucks... I think the disney mix is very rare, so that runs for 100+
