Viewtiful Joe

Viewtiful Joe is one of the best series I have ever played they are short but it has a lot of replay value especially with harder modes and extra charecters. The voice effects are great too.

I think I know who Monkey J. luffy is considering he posted the first letter of my last name in another thread (MY IDENITIY HAS BEEN REVEALED) and I have a friend whose first name begins with J and he loves Viewitful Joe and he just bought Viewitiful Joe Double trouble for the DS.

I played a good handful of the first one and I actually played through like 12 levels at Gamestop. Quite and addicting game except I`m not a fan of his catchphrase.

I wouldn`t mind a version of VJ that wasn`t a sidescroller. Well, this might not be my friend since he doesn`t care about Voice Acting.

"Henshin a Go Go Baby!"

That'd defeat its purpose, me thinks. >_>

I just thought of something....

Monkey J. Luffy (Let`s all refer to him as Josh because of his pointing out my last name in a seperate thread ahem) has told me once before that Dante from Devil May Cry appears in this game.

All of us know that Devil may Cry features Dante to turn into a demon (Or as Christ Centered Gaming called it: "A thingy"). Now, I just pictured in VJ, Dante turning into a demon just like Joe turns Viewitful. If Dante says:

"Henshin A Go Go Baby!"

When he wants to transform into a demon, I will break Capcom`s "Henshins" and make them A Stop Stop Baby!

No they didn'n! XD

And yes, Dante appears in the second one, I believe, though I haven't played it yet. He's suppose to be a bit more... humorous, then in DMC, though.

THere's also Alastor, though (I think that's how you say it).

Actually, Myoti, they did:

Read the appropriateness part.

Anyways, that`s why Capcom should slowly and painfully...uh...cough.
It`s because they take a cool, serious character like Dante and make him like this:

PS: Can someone tell me how thumbnails work?

He calls it "perfect" and gives it a 78% rating? O.o

PS: Can someone tell me how thumbnails work?

Go Advanced > Attachments > Upload your pic

And I don't see the problem.

DMC = Dark and serious

VJ = Hyper and humourous; so what if they use their own characters? The DS one does a take off of RE.

Point taken.

I think it would`ve been funny if they called it Resident Very Bad or something. What did they call it?

Dunno. I didn't play it.

That reminds me of a parody game I made called "Resident Bad". It was the first game I ever finished (and I went all out with the bosses ^_^ ). I planned on doing a sequel called "Resident Really Bad", but I never got around to finishing it.

If I find the first game I'll let you see it (though don't expect too much).

No offence, but I won`t. If you were with Squareenix, Capcom, or Konami and you had a full team of developers then yeah..

I found Viewtiful Joe to be an enjoyable game, but I didn't play it long, so I'm not sure how long it would have remained enjoyable.

Tom Dincht wrote:PS: Can someone tell me how thumbnails work?

Could you be more specific? Thumbnails in general, or here on CAA? If you mean the former, they're merely small images that link to larger versions of the same image. It's just a way to save bandwidth by loading smaller files overall.

I take no offenSe, but I made it myself. It ain't perfect (by any means), but it was still the first I managed to finish.

They called the level "The Nightmare Before X-Mas" it had zomdie dogs and the boss was named killer hands (copying Edward Scissorhands). :comp:

We don't really have thumbnails here, per se, just attached images that serve much the same purpose. The easiest way to use them is to make a post (not a Quick Reply) and then use the "Upload" box. All of it is fairly self-explanatory. Do you have a specific problem?
