A'ight. I have the energy tanks and tried going in the ball form. I don't think I used Super Missles, though. Gotta try that... >_>

EDIT: Got 'em. Good gosh, that was annoying...

No, I mean it. Hard mode is easier than Normal... This is the case with both Prime games.

MP2's hard mode was actually a bit more difficult that MP's. I could barely tell the difference between MP's Normal and Hard mode, but you can definitly tell in MP2. The enemies just take so much more damage. Anyways, it's easier because experiance is something that you'll have going into it... something important that you didn't have in your first run through Normal mode.

Eh, I still can't beat the Emperor Ing in Hard Mode (and I've beaten him twice in Normal), so I'll have to disagree about the "Hard Mode being easier than Normal" statement.

hardmode being easier than normal = killing 4 ninja pirates being easier than 1 ninja pirate

I just finished the Torvus Temple, now on my way to Sancturary Temple

myoti. If you are still stuck at the boost ball guardian (it took me FOREVER to beat him) first nail him with some super missles. And use only the light beam. (charged up). If you run out of light beam ammo kill the inglets or whatever with the dark beam

Dude... Dark Samus is near impossible to beat on hard... as far as I've heard... you're nuts... :hits_self :eyebrow:

That's what I did. I beat him awhile ago.

Wow. The Emperor Ing is... interesting. O-O

And freakin' tough! XO

I try using the Seeker Missle move to take out the tentacles, but I when I try to blast the "eye", the stupid lazed always seem to get me before I get a chance to fire. Xp

Don't bother with the seeker missile on the tentacles. Use the Annihiliator Beam, which has a seeking function. Make sure you got all four Beam Ammo Expansions.

Use the Sonic Boom charge combo against the eye. Does major damage.

Well crap, thanks for telling me now... XD

I FINALLY got through it (Dark Samus took me awhile to figure out), and got the "no Varia Suit" ending. :)

And on a side note... wow. The Image Gallery stuff is amazing. @_@

I wonder though... Is Dark Samus gone for good? Of course, this wasn't the first time we've had a Samus clone (well, chronologically it is...).
Yeah, she's not gone. As a matter of fact, she is Metroid Prime. But you probably already knew that, didn't you?
As for the Emperor Ing's tentacles, I found that propper usage of Power Bombs does things a whole lot better than any other weapon.
Thought so. :p

Yeah, I guessed she had something to do with Metroid Prime, especially since the Metroids seemed to play such a minor role in this game.
I wondered about trying that...

This is crazy. My 5 year old brother Kenny watched me when during parts of the game, and drew this up. The top three are the Emporer Ing's forms and the bottom three are Metroids (normal, dark, and infant).

While it may look like scribbles, he was actually very accurate. I mean, look at the third Ing one: he got the lines over the mouth, the hair things, and the lazers he creates in midair. @_@

If you think 2 is awesome, wait until Metroid Prime 3!

(Dood, I got exclusive Insider INfO!!!11!!161 (just kidding))

Man, your brother's 5?! He's sooo gonna be an artist!

On a side note, why were you letting your 5-year-old brother watch you play MP2?
Isn't it supposed to be "T"?

All my GC games are T. ToS (let him play, but with sound down to keep out the language), SSBM (why not?), SCII (my parents got mad when they saw him playing the first one, sooo...), and MPII (which has nothing objectionable in it).

He plays Super Mario 64 DS so much now it scares me. @_@

They recently created a new rating, E+10.
Probably because of SSBM, it would have gotten that.

now that I think of it, the MP series has more blood in it than any game I own. It has the T rating cause the blood is all pretty, I bet. Mmm... green, blue, yellow... no red...

The chunks are red, but the blood isn't. :p

Oh, and two things this game could have gone without:

Aezbit and the mech thing that walked on the cielings. I Power Bonb whoever came up with those (unless it's Miyamoto-sama, of course ^-^ ).

I thought the Rezbits were awesome. I didn't mind the ceiling-mech thingamajiggers, what annonoyed me the most were the Ingsmashers. And the Dark Pirate Commandos, boy do I hate those. I liked the normal Pirate Commandos better, I wish I could have fought more of them. Anyone else think it's funny you fight the normal ones after the dark ones?

what I hated most was the first major boss... the triple worm thing who's name I currently forget.

True. More than that, though, I ran around for about half an hour before I figured out I had to enter its mouth in Morph Ball form and plant bombs.

Me (after twenty minutes): WHY AM I NOT DOING DAMAGE TO THIS THING?!

Amorbis. That was its name.
I find that the first phase ("Lanmola style") was easier if you didn't use auto-targeting.

I find that he's really hard the first time you fight him and really easy the second time.

Ingmashers weren't that tough, it just took awhile to bring 'em down. Dark Pirates were easy once you got the Dark Visor.

And Amorbis was fun, but yeah, it took awhile to figure him out.

The Ingsmashers weren't hard, they were just annoying. And the Dark Commandos wasted all my Light ammo. Especially on Hard Mode. It was sooo satiafying when I trapped one in a Light Bubble.

As you might already know (I only recently figured it out), "Realistic Blood," which requires an "M" rating, refers to red blood that gushes and/or splatters...
