A Game Idea for Full Metal Alchemist (Different Genre)

Postby Tommy » Sun Nov 20, 2005 5:16 pm

I thought about how cool this would be...think about it.

If you`ve noticed, 9 out of 10 popular anime shows on Toonami have been made into a game. 9 out of 10 of those games are Fighting as in like:

1) One Piece: Grand Battle
2) Zatch bell: Momodo Battle
3)Naruto: Clash of the Ninja
4) Dragon Ball Z: Budokai

Oh wait, that`s four....TO THE POINT!

-Insert Batman music when they change scenes and the little batman logo spins out of nowhere-

Full Metal Alchemist would make a great fighting game. Better than the above, well maybe not Naruto but yeah.....

Yes, I`m aware FMA is not on Toonami, but it is an action anime nonethless.

I`m fully aware of that.

Full Metal Alchemist and the Broken Angel and Full Metal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir both on PS2. I`m talking about a game dedicated to one-on-one combat like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighters, Soul Calibur, Ect.

-_-

The whole point of this thread was to share my idea. I was sharing my opinion to see if others agree. Read the title of this thread once again.

well ya know youre not exactly a good person to take misunderstandings are you!?
.
but yeah i agree it would be nice where you could fight on one-on-one combat like Ed VS Al. that be a little wierd but i guess ed does act like he would do that sometimes. but then again that's not the point in the series. they are suppose to help each other like the brothers they are. but maybe Ed VS Hawkeye or Hawkeye VS Mustang  that would be a sight.

I can see it. Ant person can punch, even Hughes.

Sorry if that seemed harsh, I was not intending for it to sound that way at all.
It would be interesting for a storymode to take you through all the major battles in the game such as...

Scar vs. Glutonny
Ed vs. 66
Ed vs. Greed

Even Hughes vs Lust as Hugh`s last stand.

BTW, is it just me or do Greed and Hughes coicidentally resemble each other. Apparently, CookinLikeSanji noticed it as well.

P.S. sorry bout that, i still don't know how to get that spioler thing up there

Well Bandai would do it anyway and it would be mediocre at best because they can't seem to do much of anything right.:eyeroll:

A fihgting game could work, but I'm not very good at those. >.>
I'd rather have FMA in the style of a tactical RPG. Moving on a grid, alchemizing terrain types... It'd be like FFTA on steroids.

^ I guess that would sort of work, but there aren`t enough good guys. Should you recruit guys for the Military?

Oh, it's possible. You could have a handful of other state alchemists with Ed and Al, but Mustang and Armstrong would have their owen campaigns you'd have to work out. Also, it would take place "between" adventures so you'd have a bit of opportunity to cheat on the storyline. :D

It would make an interesting touch if for super combos or weapons, you had to use the analog sticks to enter your choice of alchemy symbol. You, know, like Al for his sword in his wrist thing, Scar with his attack, etc.

And also, an Ed vs. Al matchup wouldn't be too wierd, cuz they spar all the time.
