And what combos do you use in Soul Calibur? The one I remember most had to do with Raphael yelling "thrust". I seem to remember you liked that one a lot. ]-Ephraim/Erika from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones
-Lynn/Guy from Fire Emblem
-Grimm/Max/Flak from Advance Wars: Dual Strike
-Grit from Advance Wars: Dual Strike
-Paper Mario from Thousand-Year Door
-Krystal from Star Fox Adventures
-That greedy Raccoon from Animal Crossing – Huh? I just want to be up the crook.
-Isaac/Felix from Golden Sun
-Space Pirate from Metriod
-Toad
I definitely want to see more Fire Emblem characters. I still don't see how you'd use Advance Wars characters. Paper Mario'd be interesting with his folding powers. Krystal'd be good. Tom Nook would be quite funny, one of his powers - OVER PRICED!!! Yes to Space Pirate, and a Big yes to Toad.

It would be cool to have Capt. Olimar as a character! I'd like to play as Pikmin as well. I love this map idea by the way.

They should do Hamtaro XD
Combos:
I think combos should be able to go really crazy, so that even the best players in the world won't be able to do them all, and maybe one of them targets an autoseeking kick after 4 secs of mad button slamming or somthing. (autoseeking combos would be sweet)
Precision:
i think that the remote controller should make the game much easier to do to a ultra level of precision, like barely moving footstep to fake an attack or somthing.
AI:
They really need better ai on that game. hopefully very cool ai with awesome tricks.

I don't recall doing that a lot with Raphael. A lunge leaves you venerable. Now I do.. do a lot of vertical attacks, because you can flow between those.... and hack away most button mashers. Anyways, no matter what you do, Raphael is cheap.

Hmm... I could have sworn I use Mitsurugi a lot at that party you had, though. -Or maybe I'm confusing that with something else.. >.> This avatar is making me senile....

Anyways, what were we talking about? Umm.. o'yeah... Smash Bros.... *sneaks away*

No Hamtaro. No non-N stuff. -___-

I kinda thought it'd be interesting if they did Mario and Luigi as one character, with moves like the ones in "Superstar Saga". It'd be kinda like the Ice Climbers, but much cooler.

I'm reffering to when you first introduced me to Soul Caliber II. Link vs Raphael. Loooots of thrusting. ]I kinda thought it'd be interesting if they did Mario and Luigi as one character, with moves like the ones in "Superstar Saga". It'd be kinda like the Ice Climbers, but much cooler.
That'd be pretty cool! That's definitely a good idea. I'd like to see that.

I thought it would be cool to that one...character from a Pokemon Stadium game for the GC. He's all....dark looking but he's good. I thought that would be cool.

I would like to see Mallow and Geno in it but Square also made the game so I am not sure if they would be considered "Nintendo" characters.

Another good character would be Meta-Knight from one of those Kirby games. I just remember him being on my list I made a while back.

I'd also like to see a Special type attack...like a Finishing Move. Most fighting game has the super combo special technique type thing. Like Mario fires like...100 fireballs or something.

I wouldn't mind seeing a mode similar to that of King of Fighters of having a 3 man/girl/animal/thing team, going through a tournament, etc.

One thing that really needs to stay, is how simple the game is to play. It's very easy to pick up compared to other fighting games, yet it has the potential to be a very complex game. I just think they should keep what they have and just expand on it, nothing drastic.

New characters:

Matthew (Assassin), Hector and Lyn (Great Lords) from Fire Emblem.
Joshua (Swordmaster), Ewan (Summoner) and Ephraim (Lord) from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.
Toad (From Super Mario Brothers)
Geno and Mallow (From Super Mario RPG)
Captain Olimar (From Pikmin)

I agree a super move would be pretty cool to add. It would be like a Street Fighter super combo, where you roll the joystick from down to right and then press B and A together. Joshua could do his critical hit, Matthew could do an instant-critical (would kind of be like Jigglypuff's sleep move, except no consequences for missing). Actually, I could probably come up with a super combo for every chrarcter.

However, he should not be confused with That Man who is That Man but is not really That Man." -Uncylopedia.org, on the Naruto character That Man

Sorry. I just had to bring this back when I realized something, partially to do with the above.

I was thinking, how could it work on Revo? Then I realized just how simple SSBM really is. In fact, it can be done with just the basic controller! How? Simple.

Turn it sideways.

You might believe this means too few buttons, but think about SSBM (supposing they keep the same set-up).

Movement: done by analog. Replace this with the d-pad of the Revo.
Attack: one button. Use the 'a' on Revo.
Smash: 'b' on Revo.
Jump: there were three originally, X, Y, and up on the analog. Replace this with the up button on the d-pad.
Block/Grab: L and R were block and Z was both block and grab. There was no need. Use the B Trigger for everything. Rolling? Tilt the controller (gyros).
Taunt: Simple. Try that overly large 'A' button. :D

That's all you need. Almost like they planned for this, huh?

Aw, but I don't like pressing up to jump...I'd rather press a button... :\

Well, if I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times.

Thankfully they will allow you to plug in a regular Gamecube controller.

*squeal* <.< Oh my did I do that? I've been anticipating a new SSB game for...well let's just say a long time. I haven't thought so much about how the game would play, I imagine it'd be pretty close to melee, but I'm sure it'll be cool no matter how it's done. ^^ As for chars, um....
-Cranky Kong? ^_^
-Ridley!
-Krystal from Star Fox, <.< >.>
-Tom Nook from Animal Crossing. hehe, how awesome that would be.
-Grit from Advance Wars. Oh how I love Grit
-Meta Knight from Kirby games
-Toad and Wario and maybe a few other mario characters that are less known.
-A slew of pikmin

And lots more I'm sure. I don't wanna think right now.

-A slew of pikmin

A better idea:

Have a Pikmin-themed level with Pikmin as "items". THAT would be awesome.
