Pray for our Leaders. (Political)

Emergency prayers now please; Congress is meeting tonight at 7 (not sure what timezone, possibly a few minutes) to basically vote on a mandated withdrawl from Iraq.

I cannot tell you how devestating this will be to the War on Terror; or those in Iraq. The enemy is a bully who will not lay down until he is neutralized or dead.

The time for thinking "What did we do to them?" passed when 9/11 happened.

We slept while men died, and Bill Clinton shut his eyes. It was on his watch the USA was labeled a "Paper Tiger" and emboldened Osama Bin Laden to take down the World Trade Center; He had attacked it before in 94 (I think).

If you don't want history repeating itself; just remember; we are WINNING this War. It is the Liberal Media who report only the bad news and try to portray a sadistic madman like Osama or Hussein as saints. See how many pictures you can find in the papers of them smiling and Bush Scowling as a light example. Well guess what? In Vietnam; we were winning. They ADMIT in writing it was the protestors and media who gave them courage!

They're trying to pull off another Vietnam, and I pray to God that it doesn't happen again! Thousands upon thousands of people were SLAUGHTERED when we left Vietnam; it will be the same in Iraq, and then our brothers, sisters, friends, etc... will truly have died in vain.

Pray then; I beg thee; for those opposed be put in their place. This would be in the best interests of the gospel; as it stands now Jesus is hostilly opposed by the jihadist islamics etc.

While prayer is required for all those involved in the conflict, this is going to be a lightning rod for discussion over the war itself, and that's clearly within the no-politics territory.
