One thing that I appreciate about memorizing all of Psalm 1 is that you get some context. It really annoys me when verses are taken out of context. There was this one time when the memory verse for the occasion (I don't remember what the instance was) was Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." So anyway, my point is that I am very glad that we are memorizing chunks, not little pieces.

I must comment that I do like Psalm 1 quite a bit. It's very comforting for the faithful during troubling times.
