Ladies and Gentlemen, I fixed my Playstation one. I had to find a spindle that was pretty much the exact measurements as the original(which is virtually any spindle you can find these days). Next I had to figure out the exact height of how the spindle was put on, and...WHAM! fixed playstation. It seems like the spindles are always the first things to go bad on those things.
Oh, and its not scratching the disc or anything either. The reason I wanted to fix it instead of just getting a new smaller one is because this one has a special serial port in the back that you can plug in a special chip which allowed you to play import games on a US playstation, and the new PSones ones don't have that.
