This got the "worst game" award on X-play and was mercilessly ripped to pieces by them, but after playing a bit, I think it was undeserved... Ok, so mechanically, it's just about as simple of an RPG as you can get, the point of this game is that it's FUNNY... SO very funny. I am playing it right now.

I have cracked up a number of times at this, a couple of times where I'm not sure if the game was intended to be funny (like the name of cornets first fighting puppet) but for the most part at places they were intending to be funny... And, the songs may be annoying, but... Think about it... A MUSICAL VIDEO GAME!!! That in itself is a bit funny... A couple of the songs are rather funny, as well. Also, which is a fresh change of pace, it appears (so far) this game is NOT about saving the world, but rather about saving the man the main character likes...

Anyhow, it may be hard to find and you wont' want to buy it without trying it (it will likely annoy a lot of people) but there may be some like me who just get a kick out of it. Hope you can try it.

Haven't heard much about this, but it sounds interesting. I've gotten to wear I trust very few reviewers now, especially those on G4. :l

I saw this not too long ago. It looked interesting and I wanted to play it, but I didn't know if it was any good. If I can ever find it again I'll be sure to check it out.

Be prepared to pay a hefty price for it. Amazon's got it for over 70 bucks. I've wanted to play it for a while now, but the price keeps me away.

I saw it for $45... unless there are different versions. This is the only one they had listed though.

Hmm... Yeah, the game is rather hard to find, that's why the price is so high... At least it's not Earthbound! The lowest price I've found that for was over 80 bucks...

Actually, where I found it was at a local rental place... If you have a local rental store that still offers PS1 games, you can give that a shot. I mean, it would be worth it to rent if you could possibly do that... (the place I go even has super nintendo games!)

Otherwise, buy and sell for around the same price... So, you end up spending much less on it. Well, it's an Idea I've had, anyhow...

ok first of all x-play didnt list it as one of the worst games, they said the MUSIC was one of the worst in video game music. and in their defense, i have the game and one of the songs talks about pirates and lotion. i mean... yeah. it's a funny game, though i get the impression it wasnt ment to be as such. i found my copy at gamestop a few weeks ago used for 40 dollars, but it was a buy 2 get 1 free sale on used games so with the other 2 games i got that day i got a good deal. i think they had 4 copies of it left after i bought mine actually. i dunno why there is a shortage elsewhere.
