You will be in my prayers!
Our Generation is in a spiritual warfare between Believers and Satan.

Pro-Life Youth Pledge

We are a loud and determined voice for Truth and Life in this culture of death. We stand on the truth of Jesus Christ whom all of our strength comes from. We stand for the protection of all human life from conception (fertilization) until natural death, with no exceptions, no compromise, and no apologies. We are fed up with the lies that MTV, Planned Parenthood and our government are pushing down our throats. We will no longer sit silently by as our generation is being systematically slaughtered through surgical and chemical abortion. This is OUR generation, these are OUR brothers and sisters and we commit to fighting for their lives. You will not silence our message, you will not mock our God, and you will stop killing our generation!

I would like to thank everyone that has posted in this thread for Kura. For a while, I have found myself questioning my faith and wondering if it is the right one. Reading this thread has strengthened my beliefs and has given me hope. As you pray for Kura and as all of you continue in your relationship with God, I ask that you pray that I will not fall into Satan's trap of doubt. And of course I will pray for all of you.

I am thankful to everyone for praying for me and to those who answered my friends questions. Those questions really did confuse me and I've decided to take eirewolf's advice and live in Christ and love my friends instead of trying to make them find the truth. I dont know if it's working, but i have faith in the lord. Plutogirl I will certainly pray for you. It's not a nice feeling when you lose faith in Christ and im glad that my struggles have helped you out and made you stronger. God moves in our lives without us even realising it sometimes.
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

When i argue with reality I lose.....But only 100% of the time.

Once you've decided on a course of action, only you can finish it. As long as you remember that, there's nothing you can't accomplish.

It is good that you have returned to Christ. You kept saying in your original post how you would look at one religion but always come back to Christ. Why do you think that was so? Or, to rephrase that, why do you think you kept coming back to Christ? Because he is the truth. I'll tell you know, I've been raised by a Christian family, they've been Christian all of their lives, as far as I know, even since before I was born. I doubt my faith. Not so much doubt as to whether it's right or wrong, but doubt whether I am truly saved or not, and I doubt whether some things are right or wrong. For example, video games with magic. That bothers me sometimes. I pray nearly every night for guidance and help increasing my faith. A few days ago, I wondered how we knew whether Christianity was right or wrong for sure, because the Muslims believe just as strongly as we do about their own religion being right. It was just a passing though, though, and I don't lose sleep over it.

I've thought some of the same things, Destroyer2000. EVERYONE thinks that their religion is the one true religion. Also, each donomination of Christianity thinks that they are the way God wants the Church to be. My brother says that that's the way that many atheists start out, but I'm confident that I won't be an atheist. If nothing else, dogma will keep me to the Truth *shifts uncomfortably* but I doubt it will get to that point... ANYWAY, now that I've completely gotten off the topic of this thread, I'll say that I'm still praying for you and your friends, Kura.

I will pray for you. I was Wiccan for several years before finialy becoming totaly fusterated with it. Please pm me if you have questions about how Christianity and Wicca "compair". Or anything, I'd love to talk to you about it.

I can't read through the entire post at the moment, but I will pray for you. I'll be back to check in on you later.

Lord Jesus, Please help Kura to be strong in you. Surround Kura with strong Christians who love you and will take her under their wings and sheperd her and help her to grow in her faith and increase in her love for You.

Don't feel as though you should apologize to us or be ashamed, Kura. You were led astray. We all were at least once in our lives. The important thing in looking back on your mistakes is not to see your failures, but to realize you're no longer in that situation, and that God used that to currently chip away the world until you are a being that is more like His Son Jesus.

Yes, it's difficult and painful. But it's for the better.

Glad you've come back to the truth. I'll be praying for you and your friends. But be careful! They may say something to make you feel guilty and persuade you to go back to Wicca.

That's one of the many wonderful things about God is that He has already forgiven us even before we apologize, and when we fall away from Him, He is waiting for us to embrace us and pull us closer to Him than we were before we ran away. just as the father did in the story of the prodigal son.
I will still be praying for you and your friends.

Lifting you up.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

But if there is no such thing as absolute evil, how can the universe right itself by visiting good and bad karma "Threefold" upon us?

EDIT: Ouch, but this thread is old.
