Snowboarding anyone?

Postby Kawaiikneko » Tue Oct 25, 2005 7:44 pm

Hey everyone ^^ I was just wondering who on CAA likes to snowboard. I live in Ohio, so our hills (they're not even close to mountains) suck and if we ever want to get some decent boarding in we have to drive up to vermont or new york or something... I've never been out west yet, but we're going over spring break I think. I might get a new board this year so I'm really happy~ Does anyone have a suggestion for a good women's board? I'm smaller and I don't do much park stuff, but I'd like a board that can go all over the mountain or on a park. I was looking at some Burton ones... the ones I liked were EXPENSIVE~ >< But maybe I could pull one of those off for X-mas XD

Dude! I should find out what kind of board my sister has. She says it's perfect for her...and I think she pretty similar in size to you, Tee. (Or from what I can tell from a picture)
Anyway, I love snowboarding! Course you prolly already know that. I didn't know you snowboard! ^^/ Do you like just carving the slopes? Or more trick riding on spines and stuff? There's this decent resort pretty close to where I live. It's not big, but it's cozy. We get passes every year and go up there like 3 times a week. There's some good steep runs and a couple trick parks. Great fun ^^
I really wanna go somewhere bigger, though, like some of the big mountains in Colorado or something. There's this one really big place about an hour away that we go to usually once each year. It's expensive, but sweet.
Um...I use a kemper right now, although I think I'll need a new one this year. I'm thinking of this nice Lamar.
Yeah Burton's are crazy expensive. Nice though. If you can pull one off for X-mas I'd totally reccomend it.
Let's see....I just started snowboarding about 2 years ago. I wouldn't really say that I'm that good. (I can't do backflips) but I can pull of some sweet stuff I s'pose.

Everybody knows that snowboarders are cooler.

I'm in Reno, so snow is almost guaranteed to come to Nevada in the winter.

It doesn't snow here. So snowboarding is a bit tough to do. ;)

I wouldn't do it anyway.

(I want to snowboard. If I ever go visit Mystery during the winter, I am snowboarding. Even if she says we're going skiing, I'M STILL SNOWBOARDING.)

Ah, Nastumi, I have skiis like those! ^^ They're so much fun. I mostly just snowboard now but sometimes I still use those for fun. They're great.

Arbor...I think that's the kind my sis has, you could check out those, Tee

I don't snowboard. Now you know.
