I would have to say this new one is very good but My Thorat is a Open Grave is good as well. When it comes to thier "ballads" I would have to go with "The Gauntlet".

wow. I downloaded the album and.... wow..... it's just soooo mediocre. It's like this band is halfway between jumping on the metalcore trend and still clinging to the oh so horrible mallcore/nu-metal/pseudo-grunge trend of the late 90s.
Jeez, even Mortal Treason is better than this.

Yes, thier are secrets in each page which unlocks the "dungeon" which has some cool stuff.

I have a confession. Someone I know somehow got there hands on this and I got to hear the whole CD. It is AMAZING. It burys self titled and Summer of Darkness. And that is saying somthing since i loved SoD. The vocals are amazing, and they actaully are not scared of tossing in a fair amount of melody into this album. No fear though metal heads, they still have there hard edge. I am very impressed with this CD. Some of my favs were....
Undying, Deteriorate, One Thousand Apologies, and probably one of my fav DH songs ever now, there cover of Snap your fingers, snap your neck. Its wild. I am sure someone will find somthing to hate about this CD...but as far as I am concerned, each album DH has taken a big leap in talent and overall quality. This CD is no different.

Normaly I dont go for cover songs but DH did a exalent job covering Prongs snap your fingers, snap your neck but i gota say my two fave songs on there are "the soldier's song" and "the tide began to rise" Steve i totaly agree that this album berries SOD its was intresting to hear the drumbs on "deteriorate" I think they miced up a practace pad that drumers for those softer beats at the begining and end ive never heard that done befor ever.
