Indeed. I'll wave as I'm driving home tomorrow. Stick you're head out your door around 12:30 and see if you can see me waving from I-75 through the riot.

I was waiting for someone to mention Texas. I've been ther before and it is my company's homeland - like so many others.

Well, this is my last day in the Land of Mave. I've enjoyed my stay in the not Detroit section of the state, a vast improvement to my previous adventures around 13 Mile a few years ago.

I'd like to thank Mave, Scribs, the TurksihMonky, and all of the other Michiganders for their wonderful hospitality. I'm sure I'll heal quickly.

Next stop: The City of Hitokiri - it'll be a riot! - and points Eastward.

Glad to hear that your trip was a good one. I hope that you return home safely.

Meanwhile, on the recent tangent, I can think of a level worse than what we've currently been discussing. Aliens could come to Earth, then assume that everyone spoke "Human."

I could see just that happening.

In our own Sci-Fi, humans are portrayed as good and evil with a wide range of religious and political beliefs, but aliens are almost always unified into one religious and political belief system with a singular language. I wonder, even with their own diversity, would they assume the same about us?
