For the past several months I have been praying, asking God to help my boyfriend to grow in his faith....
He is from a family where his mom is some unknown (to me and to him) denomination of Christian and his dad is a Catholic (who doesn't practice his faith). Even though both he and his brother went to church with their mother when they were little, as they grew up they weren't taken anymore (I don't know why...) So, they both consider themselves to be Christians...but, my boyfriend sometimes struggles....
In the beginning of our relationship....I would have him go to church with me. But, that stopped....and I started to pray for him that he would come closer to God.
Now, this past weekend, when he picked me up to take me to work he told me he wanted to start going to church again. Then, last night, when he picked me up from school to take me home, he told me that he had gotten the overwhelming urge to pray...and that he did so..thanking God for me and for other things in his life...and asking God to help him and his family...as well as to help him make the right decisions for his future....

I was so happy to hear him say these things to me...but, I realize that he still needs prayer. So, please pray for him that he grows further in his faith...and for me that God gives me the wisdom to say what needs to be said when Steve asks me questions....

livewire, this is GREAT news!!! Yay! It's coming at a great time, too, no? I'll keep you guys in my prayers, and I'll pray that God keeps continuing to open up his heart.
