Well first I ought to look up my Aunt Claire and her husband that were
killed in WWII,and then some more of my relatives.Then I want to
find Starfire,Sao__Sakura,Myoti and others of my friends from here
to hang out with.
Then I want to see if the theory of there being a Multiverse instead just
a Universe holds water by looking around for example for Kagome and
Flay,since if a Multiverse is possible than it is also possible that FICTIONAL
characters might be real in another universe. :thumb:
But seriously folks,I do plan on hanging out with all my friends and we
can do whatever together. :lol:

I think the first thing anyone going to Heaven is going to ended up doing is meeting their family and friends who have gone before them and get to know those they never got to meet while they were alive.
Like my father's father who died when my father was 12 years old and others of my family I never met. If pets are there too I would like to also be with them.
I guess if God has assignments for those who arrive to help with what has to be done I guess I would being something. Maybe I would be helping watch over those I left behind. :angel:

I'd like to fly to distant galaxies and nebulae and praise God's handiwork by saying "This is SO COOL" again, and again, and again.

If there was a way we could get a job helping the people left on earth, that would be cool too.

I have a couple of thoughts about Heaven:
1. When we get there will everyone be naked? We were born without clothes and since we will be remade does that mean that our clothes will be gone?
2. Will we fly? Obviously I don't believe any of us will have angel wings, but when we get there will we be able to float around?
I'm not sure about any of these things but I guess I'll know when or if I get there.
I hope that I can see God's face when I get there, that would be awesome. ^^

I agree. I won't go into detail (in order to avoid a debate), but from what I've read it seems that my view of Heaven and eternal life are much different than others on here. To put it in a nutshell, I personally don't believe Heaven will be a physical existence, and I believe eternity to be existence outside of (seperate from) time, rather than endless time as we know it here, ruling out many of the things mentioned by others.

What I look forward to doing is existing as worship of God, outside of time. So there won't be a "first" thing, or any series of things, there will only be a pure, undiluted spiritual state of worship and intimacy with God, loved ones, and other Chirsitans.

All of Heaven is within God, so we would exist in a state of worship toward Him.

But I'd take at least a little time to watch Ingemar get beat down by Moses.

I'm with sleepj. My reasons are a bit complicated @_@ And I don't want to debate or anything but I think of heaven differently than a lot of people. Nobody really knows though.
To Eriana: Question 1> I don't think we will be. As I said, i think it will be similar to how we live in this world, and clothes is a sign of diversity. If we were all naked then the scenery would get pretty boring. I think clothes can be part of what makes each person different, their styles and such. That's just what I think.
Question 2> I think yes, but maybe not all the time. If we could fly all the time then it wouldn't really even be anything special. My idea is that life will be somewhat like on this earth. (Only of course way better than we can imagine) BUt things will always change. On certain days God will make differenthtings be possible. Almost like a game or something.
If anyone has read Ted Dekker's "Black" I think he nails it pretty closely. There's a world with nothing bad in the colored forest and there's dancing and joy and all that good stuff and on certain days things are all different and people can fly or whatever and do amazing things and the point is that God is playing games with his children. Having fun, right? *shrug* it's way past my imagination.

In the spirit of the original question... When I get to Heaven, I want to learn everything. I want to know everything there is to know; I want to be able to do everything there is to do. I want to keep sculpting, too. Of course, I'd like to fly and swim like a fish and all that too. :)

I picture Heaven as being like Eden before the Fall. We will walk and talk with God and each other, and there will be no reason for shame or sorrow. We will participate with God in His creation, taking care of and enjoying it with Him. That's part of what I think it will be like... but of course, it will be beyond the wildest imagining of any of us.

I'll get the coolest trumpet ever made (made by God of course) and play the best song ever made and then play the highest note ever and just stay on that note without ever needing to take a breath or rub my sore lips. I'll then jam with FIF and the Supertones, and together we'll make the most awesomely l33t ska band and we'll play for God for eternity. And it will freaking rock, and there will be skankin' and praisin' everywhere. :rock:

A minister once said, "In heaven, we can do everything that isn't sin." I believe that.

I also believe there are animals in heaven. (Belief based on several things, and not something I want to get into an argument about, xD.)

I hope I can spend at least some time in a large forest and hang out with lots of animals.

I'd ask for a piano, and every piece ever written, or will be written, or never written, and the little snippets of melody heard by a composer but quickly forgotten. Then I would play all of them, and since more songs would be written every second I would never run out of music. I would be possibly the most boring person in Heaven, but one of the happiest.

I would just dance(like taekwondo) and sing forever while going and doing everything. I'd meet up with all of my earthly friends and we'd have a great time just talking and praising what GOd has done. My brain can't fathom how great heaven will be and is right now.

I imagine that the first thing I would do once I got to heaven would be to thank God for giving me all the grace necessary for salvation, then I would thank everyone who prayed for me, and lastly pray for those still on earth. While praying for those on earth, I would also offer praise to God. After the establishment of the New Jerusalem, I'd probably wish to test out my new and perfect body for a little while before returning to praising God for eternity.

At first I'd probably be speechless...then overjoyed since I tend to have a lot of faith problems.

After that though...probably meet up with some of my family. Throughout my whole life my relatives have been dieing at early ages, so some of them I only got a little time with. I especially would be with my cousin Heather. She was born with MD and died at 13. I use to play with her so much when I was young, I still remember when my mom told me she went to Heaven. I'd love to spend time with her again...not to mention see if some of my pets were there. ^^

Go to the nearest lake and get rid of all those flames from Purgatory. :lol: Then I'd go find the dogs and cats our family had when I was young and catch up on old times. Then I'd look up all my TRUE friends I've had in my life and catch up on them too. Then I'd find that one person I couldn't forgive for the longest time and we'd probably have a good heartfelt greeting (forgiveness does get us into Heaven. And I think when we forgive people, that starts them on the path, whether they are aware of it or not). I'm leaving him nameless because I don't want him knowing I had hatred for what he did just so he could be popular. When he wasn't trying to be popular, he was a good friend. (BTW, not to give a bad impression, it was just taunting and stuff, but that can still get you sometimes.) :angel: :hug:

No kidding.
The Angel's singing would be better than anything!
But the thing that I look forward to most about Heaven is Yeshua.
I can't wait to see Him! If that's actually possible...-.-;;;
It will be weird having a totally different name though! O.O
I think I'll know when people call me though, if again that's possible. -.-;;;
I hope I can meet the Biblical characters like David and Peter and Paul, that would be awesome! And what about Noah? Okay, maybe I'm getting a little bit to weird for my own good. ^^;;;
