What will you do in Heaven?

What will you do in Heaven?

Postby Felix » Sat Oct 08, 2005 5:44 pm

I don't believe there's a thread about this, but I may be mistaken. Anyway, I wondered what you guys think will be the first thing you do when you get to Heaven. Well obviously it will be to hang out with God, but you know. What are some of those things you've always wanted to do and you know you've just gotta try em once you get to heaven. I thought it would be interesting to see what you guys would do.
Me? I'd find a bunch of cool war veteran guys with tattoos and we'd all sit down and drink chocolate milk and I'd listen to them share war stories and remenisce (sp) about the old days. >o</ That'd be awesome. There's a lot of things I can think of, but I definetly wanna do that.

I'd punch someone to see if it hurts.

After having struggled to get into Heaven, I shall do a holy victory dance. After that, I'd probably ask God many many questions.

I would want to know who actually will be "First in the kingdom" (who was the last) and what kind of life they led.

Since our chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, we'll more than likely do that.

I would probably be too dumbfounded to speak(and that's a first!^-) But I'd have an all out worshipfest.

Then, I would ask God all the questions I've ever had! As others have said.

There are so many people I'd like to talk to when I get there! Like Joan of Arc, The Pope, Mother Theresa, lost family members, Bono^^.......WHAT? HE'S A CHRISTIAN!!!

How cool will Heaven be? WOOT! 'Tis 1337!

Yeah! ^^ Oh and I knew that there wouldn't be violence. ^^; And obviously we'll do what we were made to do and praise God forever and all that good stuff, but I'm talking about the things you've dreamed of doing on this earth but that would most likely only be possible in heaven. You know, like flying and stuff

I'd go to whatever giant heavenly library is there can research the history of completely arbitrary things. I. E. "Whatever happened to that nice calculator I had when I was in first grade? I wonder if it was recycled. What might it have been recycled into?"

It has come to my attention that Insanewitapen would love to just run and run without getting tired once she gets to heaven, so that inspired this little story:

Me: *staring at the vet guy, lost in his story*

iWap: *comes streaking past*

Vet guy: Wazzat?!! It's the koreans!!! Get those grunts up here, this is war!! Ok they're deploying high speed anti-infrantry rockets, I want you grunts in there close and low to the ground. Cut off there retreat and choke em off. Hit the short range defenses first, strike quick and hard. We will never surrender! There is nothing to fear but fear itself!! Don't stop till you see the whites of their sorry eyes!!

Me: No that was just iWap

Vet guy: This chocolate milk @_@ it does things to me

I would want to meet all of the apostles, early prophets (such as Elisha and such), Abraham, Sarah, David... hey, its eternity! I'll have plenty of time to do that XD
I also want to hug a lion or tiger :P

But the top on my list is walk around with Jesus. Sit at His feet, sing songs to Him, continually praise Him for who He is.

The first thing I'll do when I get to Heaven? Good question... *scratches head* I'll figure it out when I get there, I guess.

More than likely, it'll be something involving praising the Lord for eternity. ^_^

I'd also enjoy playing this game with my friends were we sneak around his farm at night and ambush each other with fake weapons. But we wouldn't hurt, the farm would be huge, and we would never get tired of playing. And I wouldn't suck at sneaking around like I do now.

if weapons don't hurt in heaven, can we play paintball? but with AK-47s and P99s?

and without paintballs?

and since noone will be lying, on the honor system?

Oh, and the first thing I do when I get to heaven and see God... I'm gonna say: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
Then I'll say: "Sw33t Dude!"

I would review history sitting alongside God and discuss as I discover how stuff happened (who was really right in the controversial issues (beginning of the universe, etc), and where did that lost pen really go?) Also, laugh at all the good times and skip the bad times, and also see how many times I walked past/was near someone I knew in a crowd without noticing them.

Personally I don't think we'll "do" anything in heaven on the same level as we would have done anything on earth. It might possibly be that everything that happens there would be beyond our normal imagining. That said, meeting Job would be interesting.

Play hide and seek with CAA members among the huge clouds......

Just kidding. XD

I'll be worshipping God in any way that pleases Him...I think I'll be singing/dancing with angels and drawing pretty manga for Him. It'll be cool to see God's Power and Glory in action too (whatever form of granduer that may be) and cheering for Him all the way <--- Just my guess, of course
