For friends stressed over work and spiritual battles

Postby TheMelodyMaker » Tue Oct 04, 2005 10:34 pm

Hey, all -- I normally don't post prayer requests much in here, but a couple of good friends of mine could really use some prayer as of late. (For sake of privacy, I won't name any names or give too many details.)

To keep it simple and to the point, they and their co-workers have been struggling to meet a deadline to complete a project that will eventually be used for the Lord's glory. Time after time, though, it seems that in one way or another they keep running into spiritual battles along the way.

If you all can, please pray that they will be able to make their deadline and be able to overcome whatever obstacles that the devil places in their path -- remembering that the devil can do no more than what the Lord allows him to.

Thanks in advance... ^_^

Always find time in your day to rejoice for something the Lord has done for you... even if it is just the miracle of getting up every morning.

Quick update: Their deadline's been extended by a couple of days or so, so that's worthy of a praise item. :) Please keep praying, though. ^_^

I pray that God will give them strength and discernment as they work for His glory.

look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€

Another quick update: May the Lord be praised -- they pretty much got their work done before the deadline! ^__^ Thanks for your prayers, all who took the time to follow this thread. :)

Whatever the situation may be, I'll be sure to keep your friends in my prayers. I hope things go well.
