Somewhat inspired by a recent conversation with someone. Not exactly a poem. But it was what was on my mind. Oh and thank you Soph! ^^ I dont spend much time at all though.

A dream bent out of boundaries, it floods through my reality. I drift in its sweet depths, for now nothing is real. It's like I always thought it should be, me and she in harmony, cares are now forgotten, with exception my cares for her, for that is all I see, the unfathomable beauty of her ways, what she says, how she loves, it's more then I can contain, my soul breaks off it's leash and screams for all I'm worth, secluded times are gone, it's her and I for now, if not forever, my heart it burns in circles, her thoughts race through my own, it's like she's here, in my arms, her warmth spreading, thawing my frozen heart. It may just be a fool's dream, but it's a part of me.

That's so cool! I bet whoever inspired that must feel really special. ^_^ I think there's a name for that sort of writing, though I've forgotten what it's called. Prose, perhaps? Or is that just another name for poetry? *Is confused.*

Well I hope she does. I want her to. ^_^; *cough* Anyway...I think prose is just a collection of thoughts that is the basis for poetry, like all that's going to be in it. I don't use prose though, as you may know. ^^ I just write. I don't know what this would be. I don't htink it's a poem since it has no defined rythm. Oh but thank you! ^_^

No problem! I'm not sure what it would be either, aside from being cool. :grin: Thanks for the definition of prose; oh, and I haven't mentioned it before, but btw I love your avvie. Go Felix! (*o*)/ I was never able to watch many of the colour cartoons of him, but I found that bag of his really interesting. Can't remember practically anything else that happened in the show now, however. ^_^"

Hah. ^_^ Thanks, I love the Felix too. Only seen a few episodes though.

Ok I seem to be in the mushy mood lately, might as well share my ramblings. ^^ Inspired by the same person, of course.

Think of You

I wanna see the moon tonight,
I wanna make it all just right,
I wanna hold you in my arms,
I wanna think of you...

I'm gonna scream my heart this night,
I'm gonna love you as you are,
I'm gonna let you know I care,
I'm gonna think of you...

I'll always be here when you're sad,
I'll always laugh when you are glad,
I'll always take the chance for love,
I'll always think of you...

Mushy is good. Love is such an amazing thing; it's only natural that it inspires poetry, songs, art, writing... and the list goes on.
Another poem! :jump: ^^ I liked this one too, and the way you've used the '...' at the end really make it seem song-like. Btw, other than 'dot dot dot', does anyone have any idea if '...' actually has a name?
As usual your poem has great rhythm.

^_^ Thanks, and such a great way to say it. Truly love is such a beautiful thing!

Hmm...don't know of a name for the dots, but I'm glad you liked the poem. ^^ I've been thinking about someone a lot so I had it on my mind to write some of this stuff. Thank you!

Woo! Elipsis... I'd heard of that before, but I don't think I ever put it together with '...' . Thanks for finding that out; that's interesting. I though I'd have to go through years with that unanswered questions lingering in the darkest corners of my brain. ;)

Far west, the fields are waiting,
The lakes are full of life;
The fish, they need no baiting,
With ease, forget my strife;

The sun is slowly sinking,
Abandoning its light;
The stars will soon be winking,
As evening shifts to night;

The stillness is entrancing,
The darkness feeds my thoughts;
As now I dream of dancing,
My stomach turns to knots;

From o'er these fields afar,
I'll not forget our love;
If we don't make the par,
I know we'll meet above.

Er....just some scrappy tidbit from writing class today. I don't think so well when I'm pressured to write something. o.o; Enjoy anyway, I suppose. I've been busy updating my story, so I dont have many snippets to post on here.

Oh how'd the poetry reading thing go, Josh? ^^;

^-^ Random random, what to do? Random random, how bout you?

Itty something I came up with the other day. I've been glued to Douktsu Monogatari for the past week so I haven't thought up much to write on.

We've got a ways to go,
we've got some growing up to do,
but I won't stop loving you.
Maybe we're not the best fit
I know there's changes to be made,
but I keep on loving you
We take one step ahead
then we slid a couple back
but still I love you

Thanks ^^
Not a poem this time. I was talking to Arch_Angel, and (joking) I said I should make a song and call it "If God was a little girl, we'd all be His teddies."
Well I was bored today so I actually did write a song, XD Here ya go.

"Teddy Bear Ballad"

Summer days have come and gone,
And Fall is in the air,
Heaven won't be waiting long,
Are you ready little bear?

If God was a little girl, then we'd all be his teddy bears,
Loved forever and forever and ever, the subject of His deepest cares,
Button eyes can't see very far,
Just far enough to know who we are,
Children of God, and His personal friend,
Engaged in His plan, and a life without end

Little corderoy feet try to walk their own way,
Patiently He guides us throughout every day,
Garage sales are just a distant fear,
He will wipe away every tear,
No doubt in life, and no pain in death,
Stuffed forever, breathed by God's own breath,
When we stray, and we break and we wear and we tear,
Tender hands keep us in perfect repair,
Our little girl God, He is always there

Oh, if God was a little girl, I know we'd all be his teddy bears,
Loved forever and forever and ever, the subject of His deepest cares,
Button eyes can't see very far,
Just far enough to know who we are,
Children of God, and His personal friend,
Engaged in His plan, and a life without end

Look up, little bears,
As the seasons, they turn,
Look up, little bears,
There is so much to learn,
Look up little bears,
This life moves so fast,
So don't miss a beat,
Make each moment last,

Tell your toybox farewell,
Bid the old bed goodbye,
Cuz one day He'll come back,
And away we will fly,
Scooped up in his arms,
A tender embrace,
Lost in His charms,
And entranced by His face,
Teddy hands lifted high,
With an earth-shaking cry,
All the tongues with one voice,
Will sing out and rejoice,
There's no end to the days,
Of amazement and praise,
Met by one God, one life, and one choice and one way.
