Hi fellow artists

This is where I post my Anime art drawings. But first: a little bit about myself and the drawings.

Last year, when I went to shool I decided to learn how to draw better. So in every class, in my Rough book I sat and draw little figures, faces, people, cars +++ I evolved from not god to a little better â€

Not bad! I'll give you a bit of advice from someone who's been there, but face forwards are one of the more difficult angles to draw, at least for me (and I avoid them). If you turn the face more to one side or the other, the eyes appear to change shape and it lessens the need to get them exactly the same size (which is often tricky!) So maybe if you experiment with other angles, now that you have a pretty solid foundation with face-forwards, you may find an angle that works even better for you! ;)

BTW, my favorite is the first pic in the second group. It reminds me very much of a concept pic I did for one of my own characters...^^

BOOSTER: Hey, No.1! Where's my cake?!
SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

My favorite is the same as Inkhana's. It has more depth than the others, I think.

...for the advice.

I thougt it was easier to draw pictures "face forwards"... but then I did not try som much with a different angle... I did try to draw "real people graphish" fith a different angle, and that was hard. Maybe anime is easyer, becase they have often a smaller nose :)

Yeah... thant lined paper is the best paper, but that was the best thing I had in front of me to draw on at school. ;) I think I have some in not lined paper, but the most of them are not scanned in yet.

I think I post some more pics later today..

I love those last ones.. most I liked them more because there were no eyes. lol You should probably take ruroken's advice on that; she's a very good artist ;)

Hey, that's a really great picture. I hope you do well in the art contest. ^_^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

here are two pictures I draw on a school project 1.5 years ago.

pic1: is taken from the poen "to the youth", an anti war poem written before the war. (I) translated the 3rd verse like this:

Silent goes the granades
on tracks of wheels
Stop their running to death
Stop it with spirit
War is contempt to life
Peace is to make
Throw your strenghts in
The death shall lose

and the last verse:

This is our promise
from sister to brother
we want to be good
to the earth of man
We will take care of
the beauty, the tenderness
like we carry a child
careful in our arm

Pic 2: is from a short story written by a norwegian writer, i think after the war. The story is about a librarian who experience that some german soldiers comes inn to his library and accuse him for hiding some jews. He say that he don't, but they dont believe him. they command him to carry some of the books to the floor(as in the picture) and rise upon them. Then they put a loop around his neck(and he is very afraid), but he does not know that the loop is loose. When they kick the books beneath him, he fall, and loose his consciousness - and the german soldiers go away laughing. When some other people find him they see what I have drawn...
