Oy! Yes, it has been a LONG time since I last updated, and I apologize. I've updated the list today, Saturday, September 3, 2005, with 20 new requests. And I didn't even condense some because there were just so many (I worked it on it two or three days ago and couldn't finish then).

School's pretty rough lately, and I'm home this weekend, but I found out our German shepherd, Princess, died right before I came back. Please pray for me, guys. I'm doing well overall, thanks to God's guidance and those of you still praying for me.

Well, yet again another delay in updating the list. Sorry again, everyone. Since there were so many new requests (more than 25, I think), I just got the 10 most recent and posted them. So for now, the list is down to 10 requests, and I'll try building up to maybe 15 or 20 again.

I apologize to those whose requests since the last update did not get on the list this time. I've been doing a ton of work lately in school and haven't had much time to update the list. If y'all don't mind, please pray for me to be able to serve the Lord more fully, that He will become the main priority in my life, above my studies.

Thanks, guys. Oh, and just to keep things like usual: The list was updated Friday, September 30, 2005.

I think I might've messed up when I said there were 19 yesterday... Silly me!

Anyway, the list was updated today, Monday, October 3, 2005, with 5 new requests. We're now at 20, so things are really back to normal. :sweat:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (also posted at the beginning of this thread)

Well, I've given this a lot of thought, and I think that it will be for the best: I am, for now, going to quit updating the Prayer List until further notice. I've found that due to my school studies, I have been avoiding even going into the Prayer Room to look at prayers because I dread updating the list. I keep getting behind, furthering my dread of updating the list. What's worse is that I'm not reading anyone's requests and am therefore not praying for anyone like I used to do.

So to serve God better and to return to my pre-Prayer List praying habits here at the CAA, I am going to halt updates. If God wants me to return at a later date, then I will do so. In the meantime, I will continue to honor any anonymous requests and am willing to post them for anyone in a thread of my own with a special note that it is from another member who wishes to remain anonymous. I will honor your anonymity.

Otherwise, I hope to be praying more for all of you. Thanks for understanding, and if you have any questions or comments, just let me know via PM.

For now, I'll leave the last updated Prayer List up.

Anyway, I've updated the list after a long hiatus with 9 new requests, today, December 4, 2005.

It feels great to be doing this again.

I'm also trying something new. I removed the numerals next to each request, since that was an old thing we were doing for Prayer Guardians (can't remember now). If you all think it looks better without numerals, let me know. If it looks cluttered without them, let me know that, too. I want it to look good and be easy to read!

And only 12 days till Christmas! Wait, doesn't that mean I'm supposed to be getting a partridge in a pear tree? Oh, yeah, I'm supposed to have a true love to send me one of those. :sweat:

Since I'll be involved in lots of family activities during the next few days for Christmas, the list may not be updated until early next week. I would like to remind my fellow Prayer Guardians to keep an eye out for new prayer requests in the Prayer Room and be praying regarding those requests, regardless of whether a list is up or not.

If I don't update again until next week, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! God bless, I love you all, and my prayers are with you and your families!
