Xenosaga 3

It seems that the 3rd game will be the last. And it takes place a year after the 2nd one. And Shion has left Vector and joined some kind of group. And once more the charachter design for certain charachters has changed while others remain the same. heh. I can't wait. =D

I hope it'll be better than Ep.2 at any rate. The screens don't looke too bad. KOS-MOS's design looks a lot cooler. Shion's . . . . I liked her dorky science outfit from Ep.1 better. Those Vector suits are spiffy.

I really liked the story in Episode 2. hopefully we won't have another side quest like the Global Sameritan thing. I beat the game 11 days after it was released. Which was 35 hours and then I went 100 + and didn't complete the side quest. Accidently saved over my game when I was really close to paying off the stupid debt.

The clothing seems to be gettting wierder. Jin's outfit looks cool. =D

Not specifically on Xenosaga 3. =P

And yes there is going to be a Xenosaga DS. It's going to be Episodes 1 and 2 and it's going to be a retelling. with some new charachters as well.

The first picture looks bad. Tell me it`s not what it looksl ike and that`s part of the outfit.

I hope it doesn't take forever for this one to come out in America, and I hope they can wrap the story up in satisfying way. It's probably going to have to be long, considering the huge number of un-resolved plot threads there still are. And does Shion's new costume reminds anyone else of Squall from FF8?? I think the new costumes rock!

sorry i didn't realize you meant Xenosaga when i saw Episode III. I thought it was star wars so didn't read it.

I generally think that the middle episodes in trilogies tend to be the lagging points. I'm definitely interested to see how they tie everything up in the end.

Didn't anyone else look at Shion and think "Lara Croft?"

And one of those screen shots looked like it could be spoiler material. I'll still try to look surprised when I see it though.

Xenogears is actually Ep.5 in the series. No one knows anything about Ep.6, it STINKS! (That we don't know anything, that is.)

I generally think that the middle episodes in trilogies tend to be the lagging points. I'm definitely interested to see how they tie everything up in the end.

IF they tie everything up. Remember X-Files. Everything is kinda screwy right now.

I can already tell Shion's character is going to be really annoying. She was uber-cool as a geek in Ep.1, but now she's a sex symbol. That's bad. I personally want to see more of Ziggy and Wilhelm.

Yeah I liked her in Episode 1. Epiosde 2 her clothing was not as modest.

I definelty hope we will see more of Ziggy. Especailly after what happened before the final boss in episode 2. I want to know more about the clocked men, Dr Yuriev and Wihelm of course. Dr Yuriev gives me the creeps.

I want to play Xenogears.

I think you can count on that. rpgamer had a report when some japanese voice actor (forgot his name) announced on his site that he'd been hired to play the Black Testament, Voyager, who Ziggy attacked at the end of the game. Their backstory has already been revealed though, in a side story game, so it's possible they might not show it, which would REALLY suck.

I am like so doomed. A significant portion of my life is tied up playing this! And I hear a new version of .HACK// is coming out in 2006. Got the PS2 for my older daughter. Hah! Like I ever let her get near it.

I got Xenosaga Ep.1. One question. Do Yuna from FFX and Shion have the same voice actor?

This game reminds me of Star Ocean III in everyway but battle system.

Look at Marai from So3 then at Kos-Mos. Similarity.....

Also Shion has Yuna`s personality except a tad more rebellious. It seems like she`s making the same transformation Yuna did as well.

Gerrrrrr!!! Why do they have to go and try to work sex apeal into every thing now. Shion went from nerdy scientist to some scantly dressed vixen!?!? And why does KOS-MOS's armor have to expose here midsection and half of her breasts!?!????
She's a machine! Since when is there a victoria secrets for Machines anyway? >_<

This kind of blatant fan service just irks me to no end. Good bye Xenosaga, I guess I will not finish your story afterall.

Yeah it is annoying. Thats like with FFX-2, why was Yuna wearing so little. And Riku's scarf had more material then her shirt and shorts. 0_o I'm going to play the game though because I have to know how it ends.

Shion's voice actress is Lia Sargent, an anime voice actress who mostly seems to work for the Bang Zoom recording studio. They dubbed Ai Yori Aoshi, X, Chobits, MKR TV, and a bunch of other stuff. Yuna's voice actress is Hedy Burress, her only anime was "the Animatrix".

Wow, Shion and Yuna sound identicle.

This game has so many references to Xenogears it should be illegal.

The Colonel dude with the gray cross on his face, remember that? Now a guy who lloks identicle but a purple X on his face?

And how about those weird hypnotic scenes with the swinging cross from Xenogears? That`s in Ep.1 as well.

I would feel much better if I thought Square-Enix made these games. I mean seriously, the same people who made Pac Man made this and now have a sequel with badly dressed characters? Along with FFX, that was such a "Square" thing to do. Even in Ep.1 everyone could use more clothing.

Oh, yeah, BTW click on the link and see the first picture viewable of a person. Is that part of the outfit or a guy? if it`s neither, this game is a definate M.

I didn't think they sounded that much alike. (shrugs) Maybe Hedy Buress is actully an alternate name for Lia Sargent, voice actors seem to do that a lot. Episode 1 had an awesome dub, I hated that they changed half the cast for episode 2 ><, *shoots MOMO's new voice actress* At least Crispin Freeman stuck around.
