My friend needs help

Postby Blitzkrieg1701 » Mon Sep 19, 2005 11:19 am

I got a very unplesant message this afternoon. A friend of mine alerted me to some unsettling journal entries from another friend that I haven't been in touch with in a while (http://pandajenn.deviantart.com, by the way). Basically, her beloved pet cat died and she claimed to be giving up on life. Like I said, very unplesant. Now, she has written more since then and claims to be doing a little better, which is good. But obviously there's still a need for lots of prayer, both for her loss and the deeper, spiritual needs it's rather blatantly revealed.

(Actually, pray for me in this situation, too. As I said, we haven't really been in touch for a while, so I could definately use some wisdom about what to do)

I'm not a therapist, but I do know that feelings as strong as that are not something that just goes away with time. Maybe you and your friends should urge her to see a christian counselor? My prayers are with you.
