Animal Crossing

Hello,

Just wondering if those who are playing this has any good tips?

I have trouble catching the fish down the southern coastline of the town. I wait for them to bite, but when they do, I wait till they tug ... yet when I try to reel them in, they run (well, swim) off!

Thanks in anticipation.

Those fish are sometimes tough to catch but you just have to keep practicing. Eventually you'll get it, and you'll be glad when you do because many of the fish down there are worth 3,000 bells or more (Red snappers and Barred Knife Jaws are good).

Another tip is that if Monique is in your town, buy a sign and make it to say "I'm with Stupid ->" then put it next to her house. It's fun! I certainly enjoyed it!

She's this really annoying bratty cat that I had in my town since the beginning. That cat was so annoying and creepy with it's heavy make up. Plus she enjoyed making fun of me.

Also, be friendly! Talk to that hedgehog down in the pattern design place. She'll warm up to you eventually. There's not much point, unless you're looking to be friends with everyone.

During the Summer, if you want to see something hilarious you should go to the wishing well in the morning. You can check with Copper for specific times, but they're often outside excercising to some music. It's great to watch them get all flustered when they mess up. You can even practice with them by using the C-stick.

Question: Is anyone else excited about the upcoming Animal Crossing for the DS? I'm hoping that it's at least as good as the original, but I'm hoping for more!

Thanks for the tips. I recall meeting a bratty cat named Kitty in my town. Do you think the names are random?

I am excited about the DS version. I think I will buy it for my girlfriend.
