My friend, who I have known since I can remember, is dying of cancer. She can't move or else she hurts. It won't be long until she goes home to God. I don't ask for a miracle or anything like that, but I do ask that you pray for her peace and comfort. Please also pray for my family. She's a close friend.

Awwww. *Hugs Silvanis* I shall pray. I don't remember the reference to this verse, but it says "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Your friend is indeed precious in the Lord's sight. :hug:

I'm so sorry to hear that Silvy, I lost a friend to cancer when I was fourteen, but I hadn't known her as well prior to her diagnosis. That was hard enough, I can't imagine losing a close, long term friend to it.

I will definitely be praying for everyone involved. *hug*

MSPilot i just searched online and found that the verse is from psalms:
Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

I will indeed be praying as well.

Update: Today I am saying my goodbyes to my friend. Her body is shutting down and she may be home with God within the next few days. Her pain is increasing, but she is saved and is at peace. Thank you again for your prayers, they are very much needed. *real tears*

i know the cancer sitch my grandpa one of my fave ppl in the world died of cancer its hard to deal ill pray comfort for your friend and you and everyone in this

Thank you all. Your prayers have really helped. My friend died last Thursday. She was at peace and was comfortable. It is a great releif that she is no longer in pain. Thank you again.
