Prayer for a friend

Postby Stephen » Sat Sep 03, 2005 7:34 pm

A girl I talk to on YIM is really going through some stuff right now. The typical teen problems...but definitly in need of prayer. I am betting she will read this at some point...so hopefully she realises that others do care. Though we might go through some rotten stuff...not only is the Lord there with us...but our friends are too.

I understand. God will always be there as well as some of your friends. I'll be praying for her. I hope she feels better soon.

I deal with stuff like this all the time. So many teens I minister too are having so many problems. There are curently 20+ teens I know who need prayer and someone to just care for them. I will pray for this girl and I ask that you pray for all those in my life that I am ministering too as well. Your doing a good work by taking the time to care for her. Unfortuintly most would not do so. Bless you. May we all be good examples of Christ. "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." ~Colossians 3:12-14

God Bless

Lifting her.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

Ugh, normal teen stuff can still be frustrating. Praying for her.
