i need help ToT

My friend recorded something on his Panasonic DV Palmcorder (PV-DV53D) and I don't know how to export it to a PC (it's not exactally a digital camdorder, it has a tape) but there is a firewire 4-pin port, and this other weird port that says "to PC" I have a 4-pin to a 6-pin cord and i plugged it into my computer, but I couldn't really export it. Help ToT
