Goes to show how much of a music master Nobuo really is.
I could never beat Tiamat. My Players just couldn`t handle it so I couldn`t get Eden.

You can get Eden from Ultima Weapon, too. Of course, it you couldn't beat Tiamat, you'll have no such luck against that guy...

Nobou left Square after FF10. That`s why the music in FF10-2 stunk so much. That means he`s not leaving Square-Enix. That means he left Squaresoft.
Now we`re all explained why the music in FFX-2...wasn`t good. Well, some tracks were okay. I heard he was the composer for star Ocean III but that could also be a lot of BS1 or BS2.
Yeah especially since the Ultimate Weapon is alot harder. I had no trouble with him. I was adventureous and didn't try him until I was at level 100. =D And he went down!! Eden is fun. Especially with the devour command. . Except the summoning fotage is super long. You can boost Eden and still have time to spare.

I beat Ultima Weapon. I never got around to beating Omega Weapon however. I think that I did most of the other sidequest stuff, except that card thing.

That does not at all mean that Uematsu will never again work on a Square-Enix game. It just means that he is free to work on games for other game companies as well.
Myoti wrote:Also, the original director has left and made his own company, Mistwalker. Yeah, I'd say the FFs may end up having a bit of trouble from now on. -_-
Yeah, that's what I meant. We'll probably get to here some of his stuff every now and then on a FF, but it's not completely him anymore. It wasn't completely him on FFX, either. I mean, the other tracks were great on that game, but they just didn't have that same... feel, anymore.
Omega Weapon isn't so bad. I did all the side quest eccept the cards and the rocks with faces. Oh and I didn't do the UFO one either. I saw 2 UFO's one carrying off a cow and the other carrying off something weird.
MasterDias wrote:UFO one? I don't even remember that one. Well...I might vaguely remember something about it....but I don't think I did it. It's been a long time since I've played Final Fantasy VIII.
Technically, I don't think Hironobu Sakaguchi has truly worked on a Final Fantasy for quite some time. The "Executive Producer" thing that wound up on a lot of recent Square titles was more honorary than anything else. He looked over and "approved" the games and offered advice or whatever but that's about it.

I hated how FFX-2 had a different theme for chocobos. Does this mean the chocobo theme for FFXII will be like that?
Oh, I had just read in a magazine somewhere that someone important had left...

And Hitoshi Sakimoto sounds familiar. Where else might I have heard his work?
