Girls: Guys with long hair?

Since Alice already posted about for the fairer sex, I decided there should be one about The Gentlemen.

Thoughts?

I do really like long hair - but not when it's not taken care of. If it's washed and nice, then yes, I love long hair. ^_^ But it all depends really - if short hair suits someone better, then so be it.

Well, it can be cool in anime.

I don't really care in real life. I guess it would depend on the guy. Some guys look creepy with long hair. Eek!

Mostly I prefer short hair, but every once in a blue moon you come across a guy who actually looks nice with longer-ish hair. I don't ever like hair that is really long on a guy (that is to say I've yet to see one that I've liked)-- down to the shoulders is long enough for me!

Ah, I saw this coming...a retaliation thread!

Anyway, I don't like shoulder length hair on guys, it's just...*shudder* Kind of like Akira from Hikaru no Go. Some guys do look nice with long hair, but, IMO, it's a small population.

I've seen some guys with long hair, and it's all tangly and greasy and not pretty. >_<

It changes often. My hair grows so ridiculously fast, I could get it cut short, and three weeks later it'll be prety long.

I've never had the patience to get it very long... There is just always that "clumsy" stage in between I could never get over...

98% of the time, I like guys with short hair. There is the occasional 2% that look great with longer hair, and attractive bald men fall in this 2% too. But my definition of short is fairly lenient--if it doesn't touch your shoulders, it's short.

Short, definitely. On RARE occasions I'll find a guy who looks good with long hair. RARE occasions.

Like others, it depends on whether it looks good on the guy or not. Normally I like guys with short hair, but long hair can occassionally look really nice; like if it's straight and pulled back into a short ponytail. So it depends.

Longish and curly. That's how I prefer. Sort of like the aforementioned hobbits.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Some guys look good in long hair, some don't. But as long as the latter makes an effort to take good care of their hair, I have no issue with hair length. I join the crowd, which worries their heads over personality/character over physical trait.

Doesn't the most popular perception of Lord Jesus involve (relatively) long hair and facial hair? Heh.

Jesus didn't have long hair. He was a Jew, and no Jews back then had long hair.

Whoa, I have longish hair, and it's kinda curly.

Glad to know there's at least ONE girl who likes my hair. :D

It depends --- like some guys look really cute with short, but others look really cute with the skater boi meet hobbit style.

I think I look twice more often though with long hair --- its not as common around here. Most guys at my college have really short preppy cuts.

Well...
There are some really cute guys with short hair and then there are really cute guys with long hair, too. Mostly though, I like the sort of longish hair on guys. Not too long and not too short. And it has to look nice, too. A guy could have a nice hair color but then not wash it or something and that would be terrible. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they take care of their hair, and to me unwashed hair says low self-confidence. And that is what makes a guy unattractive.

I likes it long. That way we can have hair care/growing competitions.
Actually, majority of the long hair I've seen on guys is surprisingly well kept. Probably use horse shampoo or something.

Just for clarification purposes....how long is long?

By my standards, 'long' has got to exceed the chin level.

Actually, I just had mine cut. It was about shoulder length, I think just before it was cut it was about half an inch below. It's now about an inch long all over, maybe two.

I don't mind short hair, but I hate getting cut all the time - too expensive. WHich is why I often went long, If I let the short grow, it spends too much time in the twlight zone, where it's not anything!

Yeah, haircuts are like...eight bucks. Too much money. Easier to keep it long.

I had long hair in college. I don't remember getting a single hair cut while I was a student there. I also had a beard.

But I scared children and small animals, so I've kept my hair much shorter since then and I've shaved off all of my facial hair.

No pictures exist of me during this time period. My mother, who has taken most of the existing pictures of me (The BMV is second on that list), didn't take pictures of me then. I can only imagine why.

Costs $11 at the barber I go to. I end up getting my hair cut pretty short (like, military standards) any more.
