Postby Kenshin17 » Sun Aug 28, 2005 6:20 pm

I wanted to ask an iPod question: Can the iPod be used like an external HArd Drive? To store data and such?

of course

go to Itunes options, and select "use as data storage" or something I forget... but if you want to do this everytime you plug your ipod in, you must first eject it (on a mac it is apple/e on a pc its control e i think, or rightclick/eject) before you unplug it

however it's not that good of a suggestion to do so. I wouldn't recommend using it to store large files, as the only thing cooling the iPod is the stainless steel back cover... so use it to transfer small files
