List updated Sunday, July 17, 2005. I expanded the list to include the 25 most recent requests, instead of the 20 most recent. This was done to handle the greater number of requests being posted now.

I've also removed the restriction against no replies to this thread. If, for any reason, you want to make a request here [as a reply within the Prayer List thread] instead of just making your own thread for it, feel free to do so. I will add the request accordingly. You can also PM requests to me, and if you want them to remain anonymous, then let me know. Although you cannot PM me as an anonymous guest without logging in as a member, I will ensure that your request is kept anonymous.

Hope this makes the Prayer List a little more accessible and user-friendly to everyone!

Hi! I'd like to request for my friends who are struggling to let Jesus in their lives as well as those who just accepted Him. My country- Philippines- is also experiencing internal problems so please pray for me and my countrymen. Pray taht they will turn to God for teh answers. I'll be praying for evrybody else! ^_^

Just for strength during spiritual attacks, cause their happening more than usual...

Hello, everyone! I'll be updating the list while rogie_san is moving into his new pad.

Here's the latest, everyone. Today's new requests are marked with asterisks (*).

1. *bigsleepj: would like us to pray for his friend, John, who is not saved. Please pray that God would soften his heart and that He would accept Christ for salvation and also that he can properly deal with the stress in his life.

2. *glitch1501: wants us to pray for him, as he is going off to college soon and is nervous about his first year and being away from home. Please pray that God would bless his way and that he would have an awesome time at college.

3. *Yokuo: requests that we pray for him regarding the confusion going on in his mind, that he would get things figured out soon. He also wants us to pray feelings regarding his relationships with people, since he sometimes fears that the people he respects don't want him around. Please pray that the Lord would comfort Him regarding these situations.

4. Mangafanatic: feels that God may be guiding her to start a Bible study during her lunch period at school. Please pray that God would guide her steps as she is trying to hear the Lord's voice regarding this.

5. Hitokiri: has a friend named Philip who was just shipped to Iraq. Please pray for his safety, as he is in a very dangerous position. Also remember his family, his friends and his fiance in your prayers, that God would give them peace concerning this. This is also a request for us to pray for all the men and women serving in the U.S. army and also the war in the middle east in general.

6. Zelda27: wants us to pray for her friend, Scott, who is in the hospital for meningitis. Pray that he would be comforted during this time, that the pain wouldn't be too harsh and that the healing would come quickly. Also, pray that he wouldn't be too lonely since he is contagious and can't have visitors.

7. kumiko213: asks that we pray for all of the stresses that she's dealing with in school and homework. Also pray for her regarding her family and problems that she used to have like cutting and suicidal thoughts. Please pray that she would recieve direction for her future schooling and that she would be encouraged.

8. R. Zion: requests prayer for the following:
[INDENT]1. The young daughter of the head of the 501st Stormtroopers, a SW Costuming group, died of cancer the other day. Please pray for the family and anyone else effected by this.
2. He requests prayer for his State Insurance Liscense Test which he is taking today (August 15). Pray for safe travels as he has to travel from PA to Crofton, MD. Also pray that the information needed would be brought to his remembrance and for the strength he needs to pass the test.[/INDENT]
9. Rita: requests prayer for a missions endeavor to India that she would like to participate in. Pray that the Lord would provide the funds necessary for her to go. Also pray for strength as she goes to face the difficulties of the trip. Pray that God would direct when she should go.

10. TrigunX89: wants us to pray for his friend who have just found out that he is a father at the age of 15. Please pray for the mother and child as well and for TrigunX89's ability to minister to them in this situation.

11. Godly Paladin: is requesting prayer for himself, that he might be cleansed from sexual impurity. (Also, let's pray for ourselves and for one another regarding this, as it is a daily struggle for some, including myself).

12. Talame: requests prayer for her sponsored child. Talame also exhorts us all to pray for sponsored children. Please pray that they would come to Jesus to be changed so that they can be used by God to reach out to others where they're at.

13. Ruriko: asks us to pray for a mother and son. The mother recently found out that she is dying from cancer. If she dies, the 8-year-old boy will have no family in the country. Please pray that this boy will be taken care of if his mother dies. Also pray for the healing of his mother.

14. Warrior 4 Jesus: would like us to pray for his job search. Pray that God would direct him into His will and that he would give him peace where he's at, helping him with the anxieties that have come with this situation.

15. frwl: requests prayer for his friend, Daisy, who is a mormon. Please pray for his guidance as to how to be a good witness to her and also that the door would open back up for him to talk with her. Above all, please pray for her salvation.

16. darksword: asks us to pray for an unnamed brother who has recently gone through a breakup, which is causing hard emotional problems.

17. Yukinon: requests prayer for her little cousin's health because she might have serious problems with her kidneys.

18. faithfighter: requests prayer for the following: [INDENT]1. For her friend, who has an eating disorder. Please pray that she would overcome this eating disorder.
2. For her former neighbor who was involved in a bad crowd and bad behaviors such as cutting herself. Please pray for her salvation.[/INDENT]
19. sldr4Christ1985: His best friend is cutting himself and drinking a lot because his girlfriend recently left him. sldr4Christ1985 requests prayer so that he would know what to do in this situation. Let's lift him and his friend up so that his friend might find hope in Christ.

20. c.t.,girl: requests prayer for the following:[INDENT]1. Her life at home, particularly when she should go out on her own as she is concerned about her parents' relationship and her mother's well-being.
2. Her academics, that she would do well this year so she will be able to graduate with the rest of her class.
3. That she would get more sleep, because dreams have been keeping her up. Also for other health issues, that they would find out what's wrong and that she would be healed.

21. snow_Rock: wants prayer because he is concerned about his low grades and the high expectactions that his family has of him. Pray for his encouragement and that he would do his best.

22. Talame: prayed with a girl during youth group and requests prayer for her. She is 11 and the only Christian in her family, plus each member of her family is of a different religion. Pray that her faith might be strengthened so that she might stand in the grace of God amidst it all. Also pray for the salvation of her family.

23. kazekami: requests prayer for her sister, as she is concerned about her common-sense and well-being.

24. rogie_san: is moving into his apartment and would like prayer for his move, that everything would go smoothly. Also pray that he would have favor with his neighbors and that he would be a testimony to them.

25. Syaoran: is experiencing pain in his life and wants the strength to fight these pains. Please pray that he would draw near to the Lord and that God would become his strength.

Well, I'm back, everyone! The move went smoothly, and God is strengthening me daily as I face life on my own. God is truly wonderful, as are my family members, who have helped me so very much during this big step in life.

Anyway, I'd like to thank Syreth for doing a fantastic job with the Prayer List during my absence. And let's all pray for him as he goes off for his final year of Bible College.

And, of course, let's not forget to pray for everyone else here at the CAA, as well as all the people mentioned in the Prayer List. The Prayer List was updated today, Friday, August 19, 2005. I added animegirl1's request posted earlier in this thread, just in case it never made it to the list before now.
