Could You Guys Please Pray For My Nana?

Postby Yumie » Sat Aug 20, 2005 8:36 pm

Hey everybody!

Well, monday is the six month anniversary of when pop died, and nana is having a rough time with it (obviously.) I mean it's hard on everybody, but especially her. So she's staying with my aunt and uncle that day and we're all gonna go hang out with her, so if you guys could remember to pray that we would be able to cheer her up and that she would be able to get through it and have a good day. . . well that would be great! Thanks!

You can count on me I'll prey for you and your grandmother Yumie.
Where is the Remaining Spring?
Where the waters run so swift.
Am I doomed to wonder? Forgotten? Alone?
Within this Mortal drift?

It'd be all like:
"Hey! You want to come over tonight?"
and they'd be all like:
"Sure! Where do you live?"
And we'd be all like:
"You know that Bio-dome out alittle west in the woods?"
And they'd be all like:
"...:shady: Yeah...?"
We'd say:
"There!"
Then they would slowly back away while we are all like:
:P

I understand. (I would never be so presumptous as to say I completely understand, but I definitely have an idea.) My Nanny was killed in a car wreck this past year, and next weekend is the one year mark. It's gonna be hard for all of us, so I definitely understand what your family is going through. It's easy for people to forget that the grief and loss doesn't end when the flowers and cards stop arriving.

That said, you'll definitely be in my prayers.

i'll pray that God gives you strength.

just remember...some days are better than others...
:shady: Some days are dry  Some days are leaky
:) Some days come clean :cool:Other days are sneaky
:lickbash: Some days take less but most days take more:comp: Some slip through your fingers and onto the floor
 Some days your quick but most days you're speedy:bang: Some days you use more force than is necessary
 Some days just drop in on us  Some days are better than others

Thanks everybody, she seemed to have a really good day yesterday. She went out to a movie with my dad and then came to our house and ate dinner with us, and then we watched home videos, and she really seemed to enjoy herself. So thanks for all of your prayers!

That sounds awesome. I'm glad there are still families around who pull together and do stuff like that.
