Because I want to say Hi!

Postby PinkCow » Mon Nov 24, 2003 10:22 am

Well, I felt like telling more about myself than the welcome board seemed used for. So here I am!

My name's Joelle (like I said in the welcome board, it's like Noel with a J) and I live in Tennessee...right now I'm typing this from my third period Web page design class. Eheh. I'm a Junior in high school and my goal in life is to be a 3-D character animator/designer. That and learn to speak Japanese. ^^

Let's see...I have short brown hair, glasses and brown-black eyes. I'm really short...so short that I have to stand on a chair for just about everything. *lol* I'm active in my church's puppet ministry (we're known as the PuppetUp crew...not the greatest name in the world, but hey, we have fun!); I currently play a sheep puppet named Shaun.

I love to draw and that's usually what I'm doing, be it on a napkin in a restaraunt somewhere, on my Economics notes, or just in my sketchbook. I don't claim to be great at drawing but I do enjoy it! I also like to write and am currently working on a short story that I'll probably never finish. ^^;;

My favourite anime is definately .hack//SIGN, and I'm not really sure why. I'm also into Final Fantasy, but not nearly as in love with it as I am with .hack. Video games are one of my greatest time-wasters, and I love them to bits. I have way too many to even mention here!

Like I said on the welcome board, I'm so glad there's a place out on the Internet for Christian anime fans. It was such a suprise to find this place! And I'm so very glad I did!

Hey hey! Feel free to post your art/stories around the board. We have a great many aspiring artists/authors around - some are really good, too! :lol: Don't worry if it's not bad; most of the people around here are very nice and quite helpful.

C-ya around!

That's cool about drawing everywhere...I do that all the time to. So what other animes do you like besides .Hack??

Besides .hack...I guess I like a lot of anime, but I'm not an obsessive fangirl about many others. Pretty much if I've seen it, I liked it...except Beyblade...and Yu Yu Hakusho. Those both annoy me, don't know why. :lol:

Well that's cool. Yeah if you haven't seen them I'd recommed that you should watch Trigun, Escaflowne, Nadesico and if you like older stuff Robotech.

I've seen Escaflowne and would love to see it again...would also love to see Trigun, but never have. As for Nadesico, I've never heard of it (sorry to those gasping fans out there!) and Robotech I saw...once.

*blink* Yup. o.o

I haven't seen all of Escaflowne but I just ordered the boxed set...Yeah you should most definatly watch Trigun if you ever have a chance. Nadesico is another great show. There is a nice reveiw on it in the Anime section...Or is that just the plain anime section? Well it's in one of those.

If I hadn't just blown all my money on subbed .hack//SIGN I might order a boxed set of Esca too. ^^;;

Soon as I get the chance I'll pop on over to check out that review too...thanks!
