Girl in my Youth Group

Hey guys. I just got back from my youth group, and during our prayer time I was paired up with a girl who is ~11 or so.

She is the only Christian in her family, which is difficult in itself without having her own family constantly making fun of her and the Christian faith. To make matters even worse, every family member is of a different religion, with one even being into Wicca.

She's only a young girl, and I am worried for both her and her family. I'm worried for her because this pressure would be really hard to bear, esp at her age. Please pray that she not only has the strength in Jesus to bear the attacks on her faith, but that she will also become so Christ-like that her family will be so amazed at the changes in her life and how powerful Jesus really is.

Also, please pray for her family that their hearts are softened towards their daughter and Jesus, and pray that they will all come to Him and that the family will grow together in unity in the Lord Jesus.

I will deffinately pray, that has to be hard for her. The bible says that salvation is for you and you house *meaning your entire family, pretty awesome, huh?*, so I'll be believing for her family's salvation ^_^

I think it's absolutely wonderful to hear of 1st generation Christians (Christians who are the first or only ones in their family to accept Christ). It's an amazing opportunity to reach people in a way that no one else can! But of course it's tough, I've only heard from some of my friends how tough that can be, but I will pray for her encouragement and strength in faith. I'm sure she gets faced with all sorts of attack all the time. I'll pray for the salvation of her family.

Oh wow, quoite a situation. I'll defiantly pray that God gives this girl strength the endure the persecution. I'll also pray that the rest of the families heart is soften and is opened to Christ. Perhaps God will be able to use this girl to help open the eyes of her family members. Anyways, I hope she's strong.

I know very well what she's going through, I've got that too. Currently I'm the only Christian in my household, the rest's new-age (like I once was)!!

I don't think I'll give out here name, mainly because I haven't even asked her permission to put this up. She isn't a member here (and I doubt she has even heard of anime)
