Prayer List Notice with a Prayer Request for Moving

Postby Rogie » Wed Aug 10, 2005 8:15 pm

This is more or less a notice to everyone that I will be taking a short hiatus from CAA in the next few days as I move in to my apartment and wait for my Internet to be connected. I will be on and off CAA until late Friday, however.

Therefore, the Prayer List will not be updated again until sometime next week. What I'll probably do is just restart the list when I do return, unless a fellow Prayer Guardian would be willing to temporarily handle the Prayer List as a reply to the Prayer List thread. If a Prayer Guardian is interested in doing this, please PM me by Thursday afternoon.

Otherwise, if y'all don't mind, please be praying for me as I move in to my apartment and that all goes well and smoothly, God-willing. I'll be praying for all of you while I'm gone, too. :thumb:

Thanks, guys, and I love ya! :)

I'll pray your move goes well, rogie_san! I pray that he'd give you favor with all of your neighbors and that you'd be a testimony to them! Oh, and also that you would have cool neighbors, cause it's never fun to get random thumps coming from next door. Happy movings!

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

Woohoo, moving time!

I hope and pray for the following:

1) Your move will go smoothly and quickly
2) Your new home will be very comfortable
3) Your neighbours/roomates will be friendly, kind and cooperative
4) Your landlord will provide good service

:) Take care, Roger!

Thanks again for your prayers, everyone! The move went great, and my apartment is wonderful. The neighborhood is really quiet, and my neighbors are quiet and rather friendly (when I happen to see them  ). Praise God for all His help, and for the help of my family members.

Anyway, a couple of additional requests: Could you all please pray for my sister and nephew, who are also moving to a new place, and that their move will go as smoothly as mine. And continued prayer for me as I begin my classes next week and my assistantship, while trying to figure out my health insurance. Gaah! So much left to do! But God's working it all out.

Thanks again, guys! Oh, and I'm back to doing the Prayer List. Many thanks to Syreth again for helping out with the List.
