New Baby!

Postby Syreth » Sat Aug 06, 2005 12:12 pm

My brother is taking his wife to the hospital right now cause she's about to give birth to my new nephew! How exciting, huh? Please pray for her health and the baby's health, for wisdom as they raise their children and that their kids would know the Lord. Thanks guys!

Also, please pray for me, cause since my bro's gonna be gone I'll have to lead worship tomorrow. Surprise! Pray that I'll be able to learn the new song before tomorrow and that I wouldn't be nervous and that I'd just keep my focus on worshipping the Lord.

I will pray for all this exciting and great news

Yeah, that's great. Have they agreed on a name? I sure hope both the parents and the baby are doing fine. I'll be praying the Lord will calm your nerves for the service. You can do it!

Congrats on your new nephew! :thumb: Also, how did worship go this morning? Let us know!

And I'll pray for your sister-in-law and the new baby (not to mention the dad, too -- I'm sure he could use some prayer, too).

Yes, what is your nephews name?

Anyways, Congrats. I'll pray that the kid is raised in a good loving family and turns into a strong follower and believer of Christ.

Thank you SO much for your prayers everyone! I'll post a picture as soon as I can, probably on tuesday or something. Both my sis-in-law and the baby are doing fine. The birth went as well as it could go! The baby was a good 7.2 pounds and about 21 inches.

By the way, worship went wonderfully. We had a whole band scheduled, but only two other people ended up playing. I was the only vocalist, I played guitar as well along with another guitar player and a piano player. Bless their hearts for showing up, God! It was wonderful, especially in the second service, cause you could hear the congregation over the sound system. What a blessing! I could really feel your prayers. Thank you!

Speaking of grandparents, that's my mom in the picture, a proud new grandmother!

His name is Joshua Michael...

ack! My monitor's too small to actually see the baby. Sounds like a long, slender kid. (and I mean that in the best way possible.)

The worship sounds great. I actually prefer a more simple, low-key service like that, so it sounds wonderful.

I'll continue to keep your family in my prayers. Beginnings are wonderful things.

AWWW! Babies are so cute!!! Congratulations to your family. ^_^

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.
