Friendship and Family Troubles

Postby Tora » Sun May 01, 2005 7:02 am

I have a friend who's lately been wearing all black and it was recently discovered that she was gay. I didn't believe her at first, so I told her I was going to tell my parents, since I assumed if she was joking then she would confess. Instead, she grabbed my arm and dug her fingernails into it (Her nails are like claws by the way) and said that if I told my parents then she'd hurt me. She ended up telling her parents herself, and at the moment I don't know what to do, so I really would appreciate it if you could pray for her.

Also, my aunt has had colin cancer for a while now and it's been diagnosed that she only has six months to a year left to live. She's divorced and has a daughter, but her ex-husband will most likely prevent us from seeing her after my aunt dies because he dislikes my family. Along with that, if my aunt dies while my cousin is staying with him, she won't even know because he doesn't let her call her mom.

I'll pray for your aunt and her family right now, and I'll also pray for your friend and that you may witness to her according to God's will.

Hi,
First off I'm sorry your aunt passed away. I know it been hard on you. But your family continues to have my prayers and hope that some healing can begin with broken relationships between family members and so forth.

I'll also pray for you friend, that she will see God's mercy and grace, and invite Him into her heart, she has all my prayers. I'll also pray for you as well, that you recieve wisdom on how to address your friend, and also that you recieve strength and more wisdom to handle the situations concerning your family. I will also pray that God give you peace, and remember no matter how things may seem, He's always there for you.

God Bless,
Archan

I will also pray for your family and your friend. It's hard to see your friends go like that, but we just have to remember to stay faithful in prayer and things will happen. I'm really sorry to hear about your aunt.

Hi Tora,

I'll continue to pray for your situation and yourself. We often have difficulties in life that we don't know how to deal with. But I believe Christ can overcome all and that He'll help us to do so as well.

I'll also pray for your friend. She is a human being just like everyone else. May God give your love and wisdom as you do your best to be a friend to her.
