Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?

The Straight and Narrow

I chose to walk the straight and narrow road, but one day I lost balance and fell off it. I had fallen onto some sharp rocks and injured myself. There were people passing by who would merely stare at me, and then keep walking. Thoughts of worthlessness entered into my mind, and as I chose to believe the lies, my wounds grew worse. I was so overcome with grief that I nearly gave up... but then a man walked up to me and stopped. Without saying a word, he started to wrap my wounds, he gave me some water, and then lifted me up and embraced me. He then whispered these words into my ear, "I love you my child." As he said those words I could feel all the worthlessness and despair fall away. He then held out his hands. They had huge holes in them. He then said, "Walk with me." I then took his hand and we walked together. Every now and then I would fall from the road, but no matter where I fell, he was always there to pick me up and tell me that He loved me.

Either drawn on something or painted it. In fact I have a specific pair of clothes I wear everytime I paint, almost feels like I'm wearing skittles :grin:

heheh.... The question I ask to myself... what HAVEN't I done to my clothes.....

Currently I am wearing a Aristocat's over a shirt with black mesh sleeves... I have cut a hole in the sleeves for my thumbs to come through...
~~~~~~~
I have also worn a construction worker's vest (the bright orange kind) over a rurouni kenshin t-shirt... Fun!
~~
I once wore this glove (ONE glove) with the fingers cut out of it.. my History teacher was like, "Did you forget the other one in your locker?"
~~
more to come!
I tucked my shirt in. ._. That's probably about the best thing I've ever done.
I don't really do anything to my clothes. . . I just buy ones I like, ha ha, and then I don't have to waist time or money altering them. Sometimes I have a hard time finding clothes up to my standards of what's fashionable or what fits well, but when I do I keep them for forever. . . lol. . . (Not really forever, but a long time anyways.)
I'm bad at altering clothes. The most I've done was (badly) sew stuff onto a black hoodie and cut holes out for my thumbs. I used to draw/paint on my shoes too...I used to have some black combat boots and I painted purple and yellow flames on them xD;
Gosh, when I was like in K-3rd grade I wore yellow suspenders and a purple-yellow stripped shirt. :P
I don't alter clothing or buy clothing that already have pre-made holes or stains in them. I could spend $70 less and do it myself. Plus, it just looks ridiculous.
My own fashion look is in the process... I used (like 2 weeks ago) dress with no style, just whatever. I would wear tennis shoes with regular blue jeans (or shorts) and a t-shirt which isn't that nice. Recently I bought some nice boot-cut pants with some nicer shirts. Also some brown etnis shoes. I've never had nice clothing because our family didn't have too much money, but now that I have my tutition money saved, I can buy clothing little by little- building up.
