Nia-chan your almost as old as me, before you made it backwards.

42 and ready for the second half of my life in the Lord. :thumb:

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I'm glad for age polls or thread like this. It serves to remind me of younger ones and how we've gotta watch the topics we talk about including the *cough*mature*cough* ones.

Who's to know? I know what happened to me when I saw stuff I shouldn't have seen at my younger days and it messed up my life. I just don't want to see anyone suffer that as well. :(

Sorry for the OT (my bad my bad  ), ...hey, being over 21 is not horribly old! :P haha

EDIT: Pls don't reply here if anyone sees the need for more discussion of the OT topic, PM me instead, OK? Thanks! ;)

Don't worry Michiru, OK just likes to stir things up. That's pretty much the only reason he's here. He thinks us Christians are fun to observe, like animals at a zoo or something. :eyeroll:

Awww now you didn't have to say that :sniffle: Hey if I did that, I'd say something like "is that supposed to mean that you classify Christianity as a giant zoo?"

I don't intentionally try to create disorder, I just speak my mind. I think people's opinions should be able to be heard. I got lots to say about this but I know right after I post it I'll have some mod either give me another warning, or close the thread or something.

By the way, I mentioned in other posts that I am too a Christian. But I'd bet that everyone overlooked that part after their jaw dropped at what I'd written.

You see, I'm very open. I don't consider many things a sin as others DO. Now I don't mean anything major or that wouldn't make me a Christian now would it? I'm talking about smaller little issues.

I'll explain myself deeper in my little bio about myself I'm in the middle of writing, I thought it's about time I give the official 'hello' to the people of this community

New age, coming right up! Would you like that to-go or for here? Gift wrapped? Served on a bed of flaming white rice?

Anyway, the correct response is 19 and 2/3 years, less 9 days.
