My fight for freedom from sexual immorality

Some of you may know me and some of you may not, for I left this site for quite some time. Do to just being plain busy but also for another reason. I didn't know it then but I do now for I lost connection with most of the Christians I knew. I was walking in the life of sin and by doing do so I created a wall between myself and his people. Now let me be more specific. I was involved in sexual immorality and it ate away at me. Why is this in the prayer room you might ask? It is because I am still involved in porn (mainly hentai but I classify as the same) So I come to you today asking for prayer in this time of desperation. Also as another form of accountability.

So why was I talking about all those things as if they were in the past? Well first off I have started to reconnect to the church (the body Christ and his believers) so indeed those things have passed. But also because the bible tell us to “calleth those things which are not, as though they were.â€

Hey man, I don't think any less of you. Who am I to judge according to sin? I sin all the time. We all battle some sort of sin in our lives and sometimes we need support from one another to become stonger. I've been battling many things recently and knowing I have people who really care for me helps a lot. Much like we do for you.
I wanted to not only change for myself but to also become closer to the Lord. I think they really go hand in hand.

But yeah, you're a good man in my book. I'll be praying for you, that the lord helps gives you the will and strength to change. I have faith in ya.

Oh, don't worry, man. I'm not condemning you (granted, I don't know you too well). We all have our struggles. I used to use porn, myself. It's not a big issue for me any more. I can't say I never struggle with lust or any of that, but the out right use of porn has been dead in my life for a while now.

We're praying for you, Retten. Just don't give up too soon - breaking away from problems isn't easy but its not impossible.

You're in my prayers too bro. It's good to hear that you really want to change, cause the longer we do things, the less likely we are to change. You're so right about doing it for the glory of God. That's very insightful. I think that's why I've failed so many times at that, but I know that the throne of grace is readily available for me to approach in time of need. It's available for us all, praise God!!

You've got a demon of lust now...
well, cast it out! You have authority over demons, so if you order that parasite off/out of your body during prayer, It'll go, whether it wants to or not!
It'll try to tempt you (because it'll look for a vessel again which it can cling onto.), but rebuke it. When the desire crosses your heart, say something like " I take authority and rebuke you, demon of lust!!!" and throw a scripture at it. After a while it'll give up.

It's just the devil trying to get you to do something that *feels* good. That flesh's going to decay anyway, but your spirit and soul won't.

I'm so glad you've come back to Christ! It's a good thing, and I'm glad you're back and fired up with faith, you show Belzebub! He'll hate you (like he does everyone else, even more since you're a Christian.), but you don't want him to like you anyways...

All I can say is I'm glad I'm not alone and that sharing gave me hope and inspiration. I think I'll give this one a try.
