Unfortunately no. My environment is such that before I discovered CAA I wondered if I was only able to be both a Christian and an anime fan through some kind of gross psychological defect. Now I see that I am not alone and not insane, at least, not for that reason.

Yaah, when you talk about anime, people always think of the worst stuuf, like aht a a Christian shouldn't get into.

I have had that weird feeling before, because I know a whole lot of CAAer's live *somewhat* near me. (within 300 miles) I did see android raptor at a convention, but sadly didn't know it at the time...ah well.....

Considering how many other Texans there are on this board, it's likely.

I always think about that. I also ask all the Christians I meet who have even a casual interest in anime if they're a CAA-er. I usually get blank stares, but then again I've generated a lot of CAA recruits. =)

But I do think about it, especially when I go to very public places, with lots of tourists or something. Also, I think about it alot when I am on the public bus, I don't know why.

Oo! OO! I was in Toronto last spring!!! But Toronto is kinda biggish, isn't it? I think the odds were prolly against us seeing each other, 'specially since I was only there for four hours.

I'm scared to ask, but are there actually any other Albertan CAAers? As far as I know, Jazz is prolly my closest neighbor and she's all the way over in Saskatchewan. *sighs*

I doubt I'll ever see anyone from CAA, because I'm always at home, studying, doing chores, or using my computer. Other than that I go to tae-kwon-do. There's a very small chance that I might meet someone in the manga or music section of a bookstore...but I don't speak while reading/listening to stuff so it's not likely that I'd even know they were from this forum.

I think about it at times. Something like that would be so awesome because then I'd have an awesome anime buddy to be with. But sigh, very slim chance...

I did actaully meet some one from CAA one time in the YMCA youth area, we both went on CAA at the same time on the computers there. And we looked at each others computers and we where like "Hey!" I don't remember if he goes on any more or what his name was though.

It's good to know that I'm not alone in thinking about that a lot of the time. I find myself looking around at people in public places and wondering, "Do I know that person, but not realize it?" I thought that often when I went on vacation last week, especially in the airports. Georgia seems to be populated by lots of CAA-ers... Was anyone in the Atlanta airport last Wednesday or Saturday??? As for fellow CAA members in my state... The only I know of are Shiroi_Hikari and Lea-Chan, and I highly doubt that I've met them, living in a podunk town where the mention of anime is likely to earn you a vacant stare or two.

APU? I used to live across the street from the main campus... Dude... Any other CAAers at APU? Too bad I only go home for Christmas when they're all gone... *sigh*

If I was a billionare, I'd pay for like 50 CAAers to do a conference here at "Richardson Springs"... Pay for the conference and for the plane tickets so there could be a legitimate CAA convention... Of course, then it would be "which 50(?)" *sigh* And, then there's the fact... I DON'T HAVE A BILLION DOLLARS... *sigh*

Well, anyone between the ages of 16 and... Oh, maybe 21 (that's a bit old for this) should come here during the summer for the 24/7 work crew... Of course, there won't be another one until next year...

Other than recruiting people here (rather difficult) I probably won't know anyone on CAA in real life...

Well... there are only a few Australian CAAers here and the nearest one would be Rita my old school friend. Besides that, I seriously doubt that the others are close by cause Australia is pretty big.
