Personally they are about equal in my eyes and both very good games, though I'm not sure what that has to do with my previous post. ^^;

I only say that because i heard you like both. It was irrelevant sorry. Should`ve PMed you.

Anyways, I would have to say the item systems are annoying. I would really like Grandia III to pick up Grandia II`s: "Have all items up to 99" system instead of Grandia 1 and Xtreme`s: "Oh no, you have no room for any good items and there`s no stack area around so good luck on the boss" system. It was fun in G1 but in GX.....blah!

If the dungeons weren`t fun and the battle system wasn`t so much like G2 and the characters weren`t awesome (Aside from Evann being like 8/10 Ryudo and 2/10 Justin) then this game would be trash. Aside from the Items i like Grandia Xtreme better than G1 ad G2 in everyway but story....actally i find them all equal.

I could see them making a Grandia Xtreme 2 or Grandia 2Xtreme after Grandia III with the same addictive dungeons and a moving story.

Or at least a Parallell Trippers remake for The GBA...oh yeah, that`s sent to America please. Same for Star Ocean: Blue Sphere.

hmmm I don't know how to do the spoilers thing but:

SPOILERS DON'T READ UNLESS YOU'VE BEATEN THIS

Granas wasn't really 100% dead. He still had some power left. If you remember the beast man (Mareg?) Cried out to Granas and begged that if Granas had any more power that he would see the group (in the Granasaber) to safety and sure enough they were all saved.

Also A Deus is a very religious song over all.
A Deus - To God
Birth of sun, words, miracle
Pure water, a tear
Peace, light, love...
Fruit, agreste, breath, freedom
Harmony, blessing wind
Thanks...
Storm, unquiet, darkness
Sunshine, happyness, thanks to God

It is a wonderful song.
Justice divine has weighed: the doom is clear. All hope renounce, ye lost, who enter here.
--Dante Alighieri The Inferno

Was that the song that the Japanese randomly decided to put in German since it sounds better when you do`nt understand a word they are saying unless you speak German.
