Could be worse, I was listening to Spock a few minutes ago *shudder*

 - you rock the house, Sonic! I just hope it wasn't coloured soda... @_@

I'm listening to Walkie Talkie Man by Steriogram. It's another one that's good for air guitar, or pretending to sing.

(*moves mouth really fast to the really fast verses, then air guitars the chorus...*)

"He's fat and he don't run too fast,(....well you're walkin' and you're talkin'!)
but he's faster than me. (...(?)sha!(?) my walkie talkie man!)
Last night at the show we saw him, (...well you're walkin' and you're talkin'!)
going out of his tree! (..go, go, go, go!)"

Awww no... Vanilla coke is not very good for spilling.
All I know of Smoke on the Water is that bit that almost every budding guitarist first learns on their guitar on the sixth string.... E G A.... E G B A.... E G A.. G E

Actually, it sounds pretty good playing them as chords, as well as just single notes (all major, I think) but I've never heard the original song so I don't know if it is at all accurate.

At the moment I'm listening to Benediction by Relient K.

*sighs* Guitar is hard, I'm used to violin so I always feel like I'm dislocating my fingers whenever I try to find guitar chords. Yup, much admiration for CAA guitarists.

Right now I'm listening to Coldplay's Amsterdam. I'm trying to figure out a piano version of it by ear, it's tricky though because my piano is flat (baaad noises *shudder*). I'm not giving up though, and I did manage to work out a piano version of the Scientist, so mayhaps there's hope.

Lizardqueen- coldplay is such an awesome band! I still need to get the new cd. Isnt Amsterdam from rush of blood to the head?

AS for guitar playing. I don't know ANY of the chords. I learn by looking up guitar tabs. I've never taken lessons before, I've never played in a band, i've never played for others. I've never felt the need to know chords! So... when I want to learn a song I just look up the tabs, its a lot easier :D

now im listening to sultans of swing.... again

Yup, Amsterdam is from Rush of Blood to the Head. I love that CD, it's one of the few ones I've ever found that's good from the first track to the last

And at the moment I'm listening to:
Rock Stars by Downhere

"..rock stars need money, we can't live on balony sandwiches, we could try, but we'd really rather not ya know.."

It's too funny, now I'm feeling guilty about getting the CD from the library

Ammunition by Switchfoot.

*nods head up and down in time to the intro*

(Blame it on what you've been through, blame it on what you're into.
Blame it on your religions, blame it on polititicans....

We've been blown up, we're the issue,
it's our condidiotn,
we've been blown up, we're the issue,
at detonition
we've been blown up, we're the issue,
we're ammunition, we're ammunition, we're ammuntion...
we are the fuse and the ammunition.

I have no generation, show me my motivation
one world one desperation, one hope and one salvation....

chorus.)

Excuse the typos. I was typing as the song went through, without pausing. I like Switchfoot. *continues to head band and starts to air guitar as soon as her fingers leave the keyboard....*

<<EDIT>> Oh, and cool songs, Locke. I haven't heard of Def Leppard, Spike. What sort of music do they play?

Pax217 - Fly Away

Don't want to be known as a punk in 1st class.
I'll ride the train, I'll take the buss, I'll even sit in the back.
Don't put me on that plane it's going to get high jacked.
And then what?
I'll blow up and my head will explode.
And everybody knows that's not my kind of show.
