bad health

For the past 2 weeks I've been plauged with sharp stomach pains, and nausea off and on. Its been steadily tender in the stomach area too. Since I don't have medical insurance i went to the low cost clinic. And they said maybe its my gall bladder. So they did some blood work. They said my white count was high and that it could be a stomach infection. Didn't give me anything for it either. But I'm still having problems. I'd appreciate it if you would pray for me.

I will pray for you. It's rougher and takes longer, obviously, to get over these things without any help from medical insurance...I'm right there with you. I pray that it's nothing serious and also for a speedy recovery. Hurry up and get better, okay? *hug*

If it's your gallbladder, drinking camomile tea helps. It helps with the pain. (This is real; it helped my mother.) It might not fix everything but every little bit helps.

Yes, I'll be praying for you. I hope things get better. Try not to let it stress you out too much, because that won't help anything.

I will have to try the camomile tea. My mom took me to the dr this morning when the clinic opened up. Tomorrow I'm going to have an ultrasound to look at my gall bladder. My mom also found out there is a program at the local hospital where they determine pay based on income and if you have no income the hospital will pay for it. =)

Hopefully they find out whats wrong tomorrow. Thank you for the prayers. =)

I also don't have any medical insurance... it's sometimes scares me that if something happens, I wouldn't be able to afford it.

Anyways, I'll be praying for your recovery. I hope it isn't anything too serious... If you can, let us know what happens.

Well the Ultra sound tech found a gall stone when she was looking. She said they would take another look at the footage and then contact me today or tomorrow. At least I have a dignosis now. My mom is all worried. Well she had me worried with her tumor. Now its her turn. ><

My dr is setting up the day for surgury. He said its pretty big and needs to come out. :sniffle:

No wonder I've been sick for 2 weeks.

I had emergency surgury last night. Apparently my gall bladder was entirely blocked. Which is why I was so sick. I'm really tierd. Going to get some rest. Thank you for your prayers. I really appreicaite it.

I'm very glad you're getting some answers. It sounds like the surgery was hard, but it's good you know. Maybe now you'll start to feel better.

Thank you. Yeah I don't want everybody to worry. I got home yesterday morning and my friends were all upset. My grandma had told them I had gone to the hospital. So when I got home I thought should let everyone know what had happened so no one worried tooo much. I'm glad it was quick so I didn't have to worry too much. I"ve had problems with my stomach for a while so hopefully now it will just get better. =) I've mostly been sleeping since the surgury. My cats been cuddling with me she missed me the night I ws gone. =) Shes a sweetie.

I am so glad that you are feeling better! It is sad when everyone but your little sister knows what is going on with you....
when you told me on the phone the other day that you had had emergency surgery I was shocked....
but, I wanted to thank everyone here for their prayers for my sister.
It is hard being two states away without a telephone or consistent internet access (I use the computers at my university).
I am just glad that everything is ok now with both you AND mom....

=P I'm still in pain but its no where near as bad as before teh surgury. I can't bend over though. o_0

I have a lot to be thankful for. It could have been a lot worse. Especailly if the infection had been furthur along. >< Plus I have lots of people supporting me. =)

Ok just wanted to let you know that my dr says everything is looking good. Said I should be fully recovered by the end of August. =)
