Wedding Day Car Wreck and Food Dilema. . .

Postby Yumie » Fri Jul 08, 2005 12:17 pm

OK, gotta type fast 'cause I have to go. . .

A good friend of my family is getting married today, and a lady from our church, Erin, is catering for her. But we just got word that the Erin's son, John, was just in a car wreck (we don't know how bad it is) and is being taken to the hospital in an ambulance right now. So she has to go meet the ambulance and can't take care of the food right now, which could potentially cause problems for the wedding. So please pray that John will be all right, that Erin will be able to get back quickly, and that the wedding and the details will go smoothly!

Thanks!

I'll pray first and foremost for him, as his condition is certainly more important right now (although your friend's wedding should be a special day). Keep us updated, okay? :thumb:

OK guys: The wedding went great. Erin was able to get back and get the food finished up, and I helped her serve (note to self: if you ever might be called upon to help at a wedding, DON'T WEAR KITTEN HEELS. Ouch.) Anyways, beyond that, John is doing pretty well, he came to the wedding for a little bit, but he started to hurt, so he had to leave. Turns out he wrecked into a parked car when he swerved to miss a cat in the road. What a sensitive guy. Anyways, his car is totaled now. He didn't break anything, but he is bruised and he has burns on his face and arms from the air bags. If you remember, please pray that he'll heal up quickly.

Sorry I caught this thread a bit late... Anyways, I'm glad the wedding went well and that John didn't get seriously injured. I will definitely keep John in my prayers and that hopefully his recovery will be a quick one.

Well, I'm glad that everything worked out. I'll pray for his continued recovery. Praise God that the wedding went well, too! :thumb:
