Do I really sound like a valley girl?

Not in the least! Trust me, I know what "valley girl" sounds like (hey, I live where they thrive... ugh...), and you're not it. Whatever gave you such an absurd idea?

Just some other people who happened to comment on that at some point saying that I did sound a bit like one. That is enough to make a person feel self-conscious about speaking.

No Ashley dear, we don't. I have no idea what you sound like. What we do know though is that the way you speak is almost certainly more esthetically pleasing to the likes of me than say how someone from Kentucky would speak. btw You probably have a pretty voice.

Awww, thank you Joan. ^^ Truth be told, I do have a slight accent...one that is accentuated (no pun intended) when I'm tired. XD

Joan, even if you did sound like a valley girl, I sure wasn't paying attention. Either way, you're a cool chica!
