Anime Expo, anyone?

Talk about anything in here.

It really looks like you guys had fun. I would have been there if I didn't live an entire country span away. ^^

How about everyone gets really rich, and we'll have our own CAA convention somewhere in the middle?

Wow, I think that is quite possibly the biggest gathering of CAA members in one spot. *O*

And Texas is in the middle.

It's cool you guys got to meet up and everything; glad to hear everyone had a blast!

Simon sez: "That was totally pathetic."

So, to make up for it, here are three more pictures, and then I'll shut up for a little while so others can chime in :)

#1. The Cosplay Brigade, and some large cat with Filipino upper extremities. Not everyone is in this one.

#2. Another shot at dinner, from my side of the table. (EDIT: Whoops, I caught SirThinks2Much napping. ^_^ )

#3. Another gratuitous experiment with long exposure times so that all the girls can swoon over ikimasu.

The .asf videos are being uploaded and everyone who was there will get a PM to where you can d'l them from. They can be played with VLC on a Mac, or Windows Media Player on a PC.

Wow... somehow, I don't think that's a very likely occurance.

Anyways, Thanks for the vids, these are good fun!

So...wheres Locke? Pt. 1

Postby Locke » Sun Jul 03, 2005 9:35 pm

;) Since I had to leave everyone early ( I came with a club =( )

I had my own share of adventures.
The first being that my anime club's pre-rented van did NOT show up.
So what did we do?

Make picket signs and just look awsomely awsome.
We did that for a few hours before our shiny red van came. Yours truely provided the tunes, mostly Relient K and Switchfoot with some random J-pop my friend threw in >.>

Fast forwarding through all the Tom Clancy enduced mayhem that was the ride there

teh light... its beautifful... Though it smelled like sewers >.>

The line was a breeze to get by. =]
After?
I saw this guy and tried to get his attention. It only took 2 taps on the shoulder and a waving of my unofficial CAA Bokken to get his attention. :P

*Note, I have a picture of the group but its so blurry it looks like the people in The Ring.

Afterwards I found Naruto headbands for FIVE bucks.
I bought two and snapped a pic of me XD

Saw not one but two! crazy robo/mecha cosplays. xD

To finish Part 1, I give you Locke being shot in the face by a stormtrooper.

I saw not one, but two girls dressed as a mahou shoujo transformation sequence. (One used some sort of foam, and I forget what the other used.) What ran through my brain was, "It's not a character, it's a transition sequence. What's next, dressing as one of the sponsor's logos? I know - someone'll dress up as 'Soundtrack available on...'"

Though, now that I think about it, "Soundtrack available on..." would be rather funny. Lousy cosplay, but funny.

And we got pictures of Man-Faye.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.
