It's Official:Reagan Is The Greatest American EVER!

Discovery Channel over the past several months did a poll to see who the
greatest American of all time was on Sunday they came out with the
Final Five:
George Washington
Abraham Lincoln
Martin Luther King,Jr.
Benjamin Franklin
Ronald Reagan
In the final voting Reagan barely beat out Lincoln for the #1 spot.
The other three went:
3.Martin Luther King,Jr.
4.George Washington
5.Benjamin Franklin
While it was fun and interesting to watch I nevertheless disagree with
the final results.Even though I voted for Reagan twice and agree he
was definitely a great President and American,I don't think he was
really THE Greatest American of all time.Instead that should of by
rights gone to George Washington. :thumb:
IMHO the final five should have looked like this:
1.George Washington
2.Abraham Lincoln
3.Thomas Jefferson(How HE missed being in the final five I don't understand)
4.John Adams
5.Benjamin Franklin
I believe Reagan made it mainly because of sentiment still surrounding his
death.
Personally I think a more likely place for him would be around either #15
or #25.
Then again this was supposed to be part entertainment as well.

I agree with CR. Reagan was a great choice.

Yes he was one of our best Presidents, but I have to agree the greatest American ever is stretching it a little. Oh well at least Oprah didn't get anywhere close.:eyeroll:

I can't stand Oprah.

Did anyone else hear about that big issue she made about that high-end store not letting her in 15 minutes after they were closed? What? She thinks she's better than the rest of us? The store wouldn't have let me in either.
